I have 2 files going right now. Proud and Beginner, beginner only for the speed clear, no changing equipment, and no continues. I am doing everything else on proud right now. I personally don't continue regardless and I don't find proud to be that difficult.

Yeah, I heard you can sacrifice either or, you can find Str and Def Ups but nothing for Magic, so I went with the staff. I'm literally sitting on pause trying to determine what to do.

I decided to go with the staff, I normally always choose the Sword, but I'm playing on Proud mode and it seems that the Staff will provide a much more beneficial experience whilst playing. I am stuck on what to sacrifice, the shield or the sword?

I personally work at a GameStop. I can tell you it's not your stores fault. The person who handles adding games into the system messed up and marked them so they all say "NoArtbook" so if they didn't know that then it looks like they are the jerks. Our store figured it out because I pre-ordered it and so did a friend and the ASM said that someone messed up adding the SKU code so they all say Basic vs. Limited.
