Maintenance just finished! It's been updated to version 1.05, so you'll have to update the application itself and do a brief download when you reopen it for the first time. Some cool prizes in the coliseum this month, something about daily jewel quests; the level cap has been raised to 220, and there's a new raid boss (and a related event)!

wow, that looks so cool! i'm so glad i've been saving up jewels now! for anyone interested: ability is event horizon; deals a large amount of damage to a single target over...i think 12 hits? (it's cut off). i looked at the official tweet and it looks like they'll be introducing this and other new medals in a new premium draw with the rates for these medals increased tomorrow at 10am. thanks a lot for this, vigamaniac! i'm super hyped now

you get 150 jewels for every five story quests you clear. also, they recently changed the login bonus - the five-day login cycle (top part of the screen - this is old, sorry) now gives you jewels. you'll get x100 on the first and second days, x200 on the third and fourth and x300 on the fifth. they're also really good about giving jewels after maintenance and as compensation - they just gave out 3000 for a mixup regarding the jack skellington and org xiii mickey medals, but this isn't exactly something you can rely on going through the main story quests will probably be your main source of jewels right now, but logging in daily will be your most reliable source (and only after you clear them all lol). you can get 900 every five days, plus whatever jewel bonuses you get for the total number of consecutive logins (the bottom part of the screencap i linked above - you'll get titles and jewels and stuff as rewards).

basically it's asking if you're starting from the beginning or transferring an account. if you backed up your account with square enix bridge and you want to continue playing with that data, press the button on the left (data transfer). if you're starting from the beginning, press the button on the right (from the beginning).

are they the same rarity? unless your base medal's already completely upgraded, you should - the glowing preview is kind of new so i'm not really used to it yet.

No need to apologize! And yes, unfortunately you'd need six copies of each medal to obtain a fully upgraded 6-star. And yeah, they can be totally new, no need to level them at all! This might help you in the future - I ended up diagramming out the most cost-efficient way to get a maxed 6-star during the 2.8 event (with some help from people here ).

Nope, not at all! (that was just from the end of my rush to max out the 2.8 medals before the end of the event.) Adding a 'blank' medal will fill in one dot by itself. If the medal you're adding already has dots filled in, the base medal will have that number + 1 filled in at the end. (And sorry - those ・ weren't stars, they were dots - i just got lazy lmfao)

nope! everything was still the same afterwards. no worries! i should probably clear that wording up - basically, the preview doesn't take into account any ability upgrades that the medals you're adding on already have. So if you were to synthesize a five star ・ with another five star ・, the preview will just show you ・・ despite the fact that it should be ・・・. i took these for the blog (and never uploaded them, oops) - it's not quite the same example, but i synthesized a 3・ riku with a 1・. the end result was in fact 5・, but the preview only showed 4・. i hope that makes sense!

it's fordownloading resources for repair, whatever that means. i (accidentally) went through the download earlier today and i really don't think that anything's changed and the button's still there so if your game's functioning normally, there's probably no need to touch it.

Unfortunately not. You can sort of get around it on the other end by using Cid medals on your 6-star medals, though!

i think you've got a sort filter turned on by accident - you can turn it off by going to the orange ならべかえ menu and then resetting the filters on the しぼりこみ screen. just press the small red 解除 button on the bottom right and then hit ok - i think that should work!
