yeah so he wasnt entirely sure like I'm paralleling this with what MoM's words were to Ira Chirthy's narration about it and seeing it on screen with Sora

actually he didnt know what would happen what if he knew this power came at a price but he didnt know what exactly hence why he said to Ira should he vanish, dim, fade

MoM is like some kind of "god" right what if he abused a power to achieve said powers he has but it also came at a price cuz I highly doubt that MoM's powers were just oh he natural had them

and in the ending Sora ended up vanishing, fading, diming out and we know why that happened Sora abused a power in the wrong way and it costed him

MoM even tells Ira should he vanish, dim, fade, Ira should take care of the others right

So you know how Chirthy narrated MoM vanished, dimmed, faded out of existence

its in regard how MoM and Sora both "vanished, faded and dimmed" out of existence and even how Chirthy narrated MoM's existence
