On March 9th, 2017, the international version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ received 15 new story quests! Players will return to Agrabah and help Aladdin search for Abu in this new update. As always, every five quests will reward you with a small amount of jewels. Additionally, finishing all 15 of these quests rewards you with an Orichalcum, used to strengthen a Keyblade of your choice. Be sure to do these quests as soon as possible, as there is a zero AP event currently underway, set to end incredibly soon. Have fun! The beginning of this week brings some powerful tools to help you get an edge in battle! First up, the Coliseum Side-Quest has begun! Starting on March 6th at 12 AM (PT), players can fight through powerful enemies in the Coliseum to get gems and level up their Keyblades. Beware, as the enemies will get progressively harder, and will include a battle against the fearsome Cerberus! Next, a limited-time premium quest has been added! Starting on March 6th at 12 AM (PT), partaking in this quest will level up your medals' skills, and earn you EXP, evolve, and munny medals. However, this quest is only accessible by players with VIP access, so be sure to purchase the Weekly Jewel Extravaganza this week if you want to participate! Finally, two new avatar boards have been released! You can now purchase Cupid avatars, both featuring a slight Kingdom Hearts motif in their design. To celebrate the start of the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour, these avatars have been given corresponding titles; First Breath for the female avatar, and World Tour for male characters. Disney's Zootopia has won the Academy award for Best Animated Feature! To celebrate, players will be given a free copy of the Judy & Nick medal on February 28th. This week brings with it a plethora of new content! First up, a limited-time challenge event featuring new medals! Starting on February 20th at 12 AM (PT), this event is only available for those who purchase the VIP package for the week (Weekly Jewel Extravaganza, approx. $15 USD). Players will be able to earn copies of the all new Minnie & Daisy medal, along with 1400 jewels over the course of the week. Second, a new raid event is on the horizon! From February 20th at 12 AM (PT) to February 26th at 11:59 PM (PT), players can defeat a new raid boss in order to earn the Young Sora and Young Riku medals! Be sure to team up with your party to maximize your profits! Third, the next Zodiac Crown ranking has started! Depending on their overall Lux rank from February 20th until February 26th, players can compete with one another to obtain the new Gold, Silver, and Bronze Pisces Crowns! Remember to use Lux Plus skills and find your best farming spots! Finally, sugary sweet avatar boards are now available! Players can purchase two new avatar boards which come with outfits decorated with icing, sprinkles, and chocolate. As always, these boards include a variety of useful rewards. A new Epic Medal Carnival has begun! Starting on February 17th at 12 AM (PT), players can obtain the new Key Art 3 medal, featuring the illustration of Roxas and Axel as shown on the cover of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days! That's not all, however, as HD Ursula also makes her debut in this Epic Medal Carnival. As a bonus, both of these medals are guaranteed to come with three Guilt dots! However, note that they are not guaranteed within a certain number of draws. A new High Score Challenge has also started! From February 17th at 12 AM (PT) to March 2nd at 11:59 PM (PT), players can participate to earn the Sora, Donald, and Goofy B medal, featuring an illustration of the trio, as well as the Young King Mickey medal! I think he meant the fact that we got the same exact event as JP did, hence the enemies being way stronger than what we would usually deal with.

A new batch of story quests is being added to the international version of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ on February 9th at 12 AM (PT)! Fifteen new quests have been added, focusing on Skuld's admission to the Dandelions. As always, Jewels will be rewarded after completing every set of five quests. Have fun! Additionally, the three Proud Quest categories in the Events section have received new content! Starting on February 9th at 12 AM (PT), players can now participate in the level 280 quests, with each being a test of their Power, Magic, or Speed medals! Players will have to defeat all enemies in these quests within one turn to get the Keyblade upgrade gems. Starting on February 9th at 12 AM (PT), the second Valentine's Deal is up for grabs! This time, the featured medal is Illustrated Riku B, a Chain of Memories-themed piece of artwork! He will be guaranteed after five draws, and each draw will award you with two 6-star medals with pre-filled special attack dots, as well as eight 5-star medals! Players who manage to unlock Illustrated Riku B's Guilt bonus by 2/20 PST will also receive the special CoM Sora & Riku medal, which will have three of its ability dots already filled in! Finally, there is a Bonus Jewel Purchase Campaign until 2/14 PST! Players will receive double the Skip Tickets and extra bonus Jewels upon purchasing Jewels during this event period. The launch celebration for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue continues! From February 3rd at 12 AM (PT) to February 16th at 11:59 PM (PT), players can participate in the second celebratory event, and earn the new Sora & Riku & Meow Wow medal! This medal can be obtained by fusing a 6-star Dream Drop Distance Sora, Dream Drop Distance Riku, and Meow Wow together! Be sure to fuse another into it if you have already unlocked the Special Attack Bonus, in order to re-roll your result and make it even stronger! That's not all the month of February has in store! Starting on February 3rd at 12 AM (PT), players can draw from the new Valentine's Deal! This deal includes two 6-star medals with three Special Attack Bonus dots, as well as eight 5-star medals. Additionally, this deal comes with the chance to get the new KHCoM Illustrated Sora medal! This medal is guaranteed after five draws of the deal, so be sure not to miss your chance to get it! A new month marks a new Coliseum rotation! This month, you are able to compete with other players to obtain the Cowboy Goth Hat and Cowgirl Goth Hat avatar parts, available to the top 100,000 players. These hats include a Rare Enemy +4 perk. Also up for grabs is the rare Attack Boost III & Attack Prize Plus skill, available for those ranking in the top 10,000! Furthermore, a new set of premium avatar boards has been made available! From February 1st at 12 AM (PT) to February 7th at 11:59 PM (PT), players can purchase the Terence and Tinker Bell avatar boards for 2,500 jewels each. These avatar boards include speed gems, various boost medals, and the useful Attack Boost II & Attack Prize Plus and Attack Boost III skills! Make sure not to miss out! Additionally, though it was not listed in the update, players can now combine their Dream Drop Distance themed medals (KHDDD Sora, KHDDD Riku, and Meow Wow), to create the powerful Sora & Riku & Meow Wow medal! Back Cover was great, the characters were fantastic, and it did a lot to pull me even further into the never-ending hellhole which is my fascination for the KHX saga, but didn't flesh out enough of the story for my tastes. I would have liked it to continue for a while, if you get what I'm saying. So I suppose this will have to go to 0.2 BBS. The gameplay is incredible (and just got better with the patch), the story is satisfying and a perfect lead-in to KH3, and of course, Yoko never fails to disappoint (not that she did bad on Back Cover, just that 0.2 had more standout tracks).

A Kingdom Hearts 15th Anniversary Box was revealed on the Square Enix Japan e-Store, exclusively available for fans who preorder Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX. This box features the cover artwork pieces for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. The box is intended to store players' copies of KH2.8, as well as the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, set to be released in March. In his most recent interview with Famitsu Weekly, series director Tetsuya Nomura discussed plans to release a commemorative box for fans to store the games in, providing a special treat to collectors. This box will be available in limited quantities, and it is not currently known if an identical or similar product will be available in other regions.
