  1. Final Fantasy XV has been released worldwide, and it seems that Square Enix has taken this opportunity to get the word out on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. Several Final Fantasy fans have pointed out that an advertisement slip for the next entry in the Kingdom Hearts series has been included alongside Final Fantasy XV's health and safety information. This advertisement was also spotted within copies of World of Final Fantasy earlier this year. Below, you can see examples of this advertising slip in Italian thanks to Everglow and in English/French thanks to Tumblr user soralechance! Interestingly, some copies of the game include an older advertisement, which still lists the inaccurate release window of "December 2016", rather than the updated "January 12th/24th 2016" release date. This is likely due to the specific date that each copy of the game was packaged. Did you pick up Final Fantasy XV, and what are your thoughts about the included advertisement? 3. Sweet mother of Mickey, that's quite a pull. Did that boosted Sora come with dots, or no? Because I've heard it's really inconsistent.
  4. Doubt it, but hey, one can dream! No one expected VIP to be $5, either, so maybe they really are going all-out for this week.
  5. Starting November 25th at 12 AM (PT), Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ international is receiving plenty of new content! First up, lasting until December 1st at 11:59 PM (PT), a Black Friday medal deal will be available! This deal's highlight is the new HD Sora medal, which is guaranteed after 5 attempts, but that's not all. Two medals in this deal are guaranteed to be 6-stars, while the other eight will be 5-stars. In addition, the 6-star medals will come with three pre-filled orbs, and every medal in the pack is guaranteed to be an epic medal (Special Attack Bonus tier of 3 or higher). Do note that while the guaranteed HD Sora can come with three filled orbs, this bonus is not necessarily guaranteed. Next up, from November 25th at 12 AM (PT) to December 1st at 11:59 PM (PT), players can participate in a new High Score Challenge! This challenge features the new Maleficent and Pete medals, so be sure to try your hardest to earn them! Eight new avatar boards will also be available during this time, featuring the likenesses of the following beloved characters: Belle, Beast, Ariel, King Triton, Alice, Playing Card, Princess Jasmine, and Aladdin! These avatar boards contain a variety of valuable bonuses, ranging from Keyblade upgrading gems to powerful skills. And finally, speaking of avatars, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is celebrating the release of Disney's Moana with its latest event. From November 25th at 12 AM (PT) until December 18th at 11:59 PM (PT), players can participate in an event to earn the Moana avatar and plenty of boost medals. Next week, the second half of this update will go live, and players will be able to earn the Moana and Maui medals, among other rewards. Which new addition are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments!
  6. I just loaded up BBS to check. At the same angle, the hair looks the same. So no, no change to the model except the shirt.

  11. Considering it's part of a "special 1 AP campaign" according to their tweet, I don't think it will be a HSC reward. Timeless River Mickey isn't good enough in the current state of the game to be included in a challenge like that, since it does a rather low amount of fixed damage. I will say, however, that the majority of October and the correction to Jack & Sally makes me really excited for November. If they can keep the train of good events and a possible zero AP campaign going, I'll be much more positively inclined to forgive some missteps. Edit: Today's notice indicates that it's part of the Coliseum for the next few days. Disregard my initial speculation.
  12. It's the beginning of a new month, and that means a new set of Coliseum boards and challenges! Adorable new avatars are available this month, which you can view in the first image of the album below. As part of the new Coliseum challenge, tier 10 has been capped at 10 rounds, complete with a reward, and the newly-added tier 11 is replacing it as the 999-round tier. All Coliseum rounds will cost 1 AP until November 3rd at 11:59 PM (PT), and if you are able to reach tier 11 before that time, you will receive a free 5-star Timeless River Mickey medal! Finally, several of you will be excited to hear that Square Enix has finally released an update regarding the Jack & Sally medal parameters! The special attack of the Jack & Sally medal has been reverted to match what was outlined in the original notice (+1 PSM attack for 2 turns, -1 PSM defense on all enemies for 2 turns, costs 2 special attack gauges). In addition to corrected parameters, Square Enix is also offering 300 jewels, as well as a sincere apology for the confusion and frustration caused by the error and the time it took to resolve this issue. They are reviewing their internal procedures to make sure that errors such as this do not occur in the future. Are you excited for the new Coliseum update and the corrected Jack & Sally medal? Let us know in the comments!

Let us know in the comments!

  16. +1 for Symphonic Fantasies here, as well. I absolutely love the tracks on this album, and the fact that it's Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo is even better, as I felt the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra gave a superior performance when compared to the original Symphonic Fantasies concert. Even disregarding the KH track itself, as well as Destati being part of the encore, the entire rest of the album is fantastic. Granted, I'm a massive fan of the Mana series, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy, but some of the pieces (the SoM theme and Magus' theme, in particular) are breathtaking, and I'd love them even if I was only a fan of Kingdom Hearts. I can definitely recommend all of Symphonic Fantasies to anyone who loves Shimomura, Uematsu, or just Square's general work with music.
