I did not like Man Of Steel at all

I liked how his relationship with Batman goes in he animated universe Those were always highlights of superman for me. They just play off each other really well

Why is it that they always have to do dark versions of DC characters in media to get a good adaption ?

I just was never invested in him as a character cause he has always been pretty bland in a lot of shows I saw him in. Except when they do his dark episodes.
