Nah, in this case it really doesn't. They're gonna renew that domain as long as they exist. It's like if Square Enix stopped making Final Fantasy games, the domain finalfantasy.com would still be owned by them 40 years from now. Because to them the cost is a grain of sand in a sandbox.

Not to ruin the mood there but "Updated on 2022-03-04" just means it was renewed for another year. That costs like $12 and is done automatically a month or two before expiry unless you go out of your way to cancel it. Which they sure as hell ain't gonna do because then anyone could register it and they risk losing it forever. Regardless of whether they plan on making another game or not. I have like a dozen dormant domains that I just let renew every year even though I have no plans to use them again. One of them is org13.com, no idea what I should use it for

Exactly, if the ads bother you too much, then that is the alternative. I don't have Premium. I just Adblock in my browser, and I don't watch Youtube often enough on my phone or Smart TV where the ads actually bother me.
