Her closeness...Sora inhaled her perfume and tried to stifle his heartbeat from becoming too obvious. Conceal, don't feel...Sora thought to himself, thinking of his adventures in Arendale. He couldn't let himself be so obvious about his feelings. "Heh, what would you like?" Naminé stirred slightly at the touch but her eyes remained closed. She felt...safe. When was the last time she slept so soundly? Without any nightmares plaguing her...

Sora wiggled his eyebrows. "Wanna make a bet? I say before Christmas break." He wasn't sure Riku could wait even that long. His best friend seemed so over the moon that it was hard to imagine him being able to keep quiet, especially with other guys eyeing her up--something Sora could relate to.

"You're welcome," Naminé returned. As the movie continued, Naminé felt her eyelids droop and shifted so that her head that it rested on Roxas's chest. His heartbeat was soothing to the blonde; a reminder of their humanity. "Yeah," Sora whispered, moving to wrap an arm around Kairi's shoulders absentmindedly. He liked seeing his other best friend so happy. "I wonder when they'll get together?" If they aren't already...

Naminé giggled when Roxas fell off the bed, but offered a blanket to him once he settled beside her again. "I know. Crazy how much time has passed," Sora remarked and pulled part of her blanket towards him. The fabric was a soft burgundy. On the screen, the hero appeared on screen brandishing his sword with a triumphant yell. "I wonder how Riku's doing? Him and Lightning were getting especially close lately."

"Oh, Roxas," she pushed him gently as small smile etched itself onto her lips. That makes one of us. He really was too sweet. Sora plopped down beside Kairi then and snatched the remote from Roxas with a mischievous grin. "I know the perfect movie for us to watch!" He scrolled down a few columns and clicked on a title with an Elvish hero on the front. "Riku and I would watch this all the time back on the islands when Kairi did her sleepovers with Selphie."

"We'll have to think about that," Naminé teased lightly. She made a profile for each of the boys before settling to click on the new Roxas one. She handed the remote to the blond. "Here. You and Sora can see what you like. I'm okay with anything as long as it's not horror...or has witches." The latter was still a relatively sore subject for the girl. She had seen a wide range of portrayals since becoming her own person, but the word left a bitter aftertaste in her mouth.

Naminé put a finger to her lip thoughtfully before offering a small nod from where she was laying. "I think that's fair. There's lots of good movies we can choose from still anyway." Propping herself up finally, Naminé pushed herself against the headboard and reached for the remote. The screen flicked on only a second before Naminé clicked the 'Netflix' button, bringing up her and Kairi's profiles. "Should we make a new one?"

Sora feigned hurt. "Are you trying to imply something?" Though, Sora wouldn't deny that he and Riku had often chosen horror flicks during their time with Kairi. They would try to keep to the cheesy end of the genre, but it seemed like even the subpar effects would make the red head jump. Which means Naminé would probably react the same.

"I'm pretty tired myself," Naminé agreed with a yawn. She fell back on her bed and rubbed at her eyes. Today had taken its toll, that's for sure. Sora gestured to the television in the center of their room. "You guys have a TV, so we can watch a movie while everyone unwinds a little."

"We'll have to start brainstorming ideas," Naminé exclaimed eagerly, "I can help draw up some designs too." Sora looked to Roxas, his hands behind his head, and chuckled. "Guess we'll leave this up to the girls then." He trusted their judgement though. Kairi knew what he looked best in.

Naminé jumped up off the bed in excitement, her eyes twinkling as she clasped her hands. "That would be amazing! We could even go as matching pairs!" They weren't dating, but did that matter? Naminé wasn't sure. She just liked the idea of wearing a matching costume with Roxas.

"Especially with the wigs," Sora snorted. Riku might tolerate the clothes, but the hair would be too much for his friend. Not that he blamed him with all the duplicates they had encountered. "I might want a Kairi costume though," Naminé teased. She always did like Kairi's pink zipper dress. The blonde, however, wasn't sure how she would feel about a bunch of girls dressed as her running about. It was an odd image in the very least.

"I think we're awesome," Sora said, offering Naminé a comforting smile, "And so do a lot of people. Our abilities saved a lot of lives." Even if some people didn't understand, it was the truth. They were heroes. At the mention of Halloween, Sora perked up. He hadn't decided on a costume for this year yet. "Heh, I bet a lot of guys would try to dress like Riku. Can you imagine the keyblade props?" The idea made Sora laugh. Maybe some of them would even be wooden like Ventus's?

"We're quite the group of misfits," Naminé joked, but there was little humor in her voice. And I'm a Nobody and a witch...The latter of which people seemed especially terrified of. Naminé glanced at her sketchbook, thinking about her still confusing powers over hearts.

"Just a few," Sora said with a grin. It was strange to think how this world wouldn't even be here if the keyblade wielders hadn't been around. "Not sure how people here feel about us though," Sora added thoughtfully. The Restoration Committee obviously appreciated them, but it was hard to say what the opinions of the other citizens were since Sora knew that some of their battles hadn't been the kindest to the world's infrastructure.

Naminé went to sit beside him, the mattress eliciting a small groan. "Maybe?" She held a finger against her chin, "I suppose it wouldn't surprise me if we did." Kairi's princess status did net them a number of benefits. Her shoulder brushed against Roxas's lightly as she tucked her hair behind her shoulder.

Naminé nodded cheerfully as she texted Kairi back 'Of course!'. "We're good!" She almost giggled at the tilt of his head. He looks like a puppy...She wondered for a moment if anyone would think it odd that Roxas was following her back to her dorm room? But, from what she had observed from other girls in their hall, it wasn't anything too uncommon. Though the intent might be different...

Sora couldn't help it and sighed in relief. "I'm glad." Naminé might have felt a little left out with only him there. And probably awkward. Not that it would be intentional, but him and Kairi were close...

"I think I can spare an extra minute or two," she teased lightly. Part of her was giddy now. She brought her phone out and texted Kairi. 'Is it okay if Roxas spends the night?' If her best friend wasn't comfortable, Naminé would obviously respect that, but she had a feeling it might not just be the three of them tonight anyway.

She leaned into his touch, the brush of his thumb soothing. "Of course. I trust you, Roxas," she affirmed quietly. He was the person she trusted most. Naminé felt her heart grow warm at his declaration. It made her feel good to know that he wanted to be there with her. Support her. Naminé didn't think there was another person she connected with as well as she did with him.

"I-I don't think so," Naminé stuttered, avoiding his gaze. Maybe she should text her first? "Um...but...you're okay with that?" She didn't want to force him to stay with her. Even if being without him would make the night unbearable, I don't want him to feel obligated...Roxas had already done so much for her that the girl felt selfish to keep asking for more and more of his time. She was sure Alexis would call her behavior desperate...Not that it should matter, Naminé told herself. Those girls didn't know anything.

Naminé tried to offer a radiant smile but could only muster a weak twitch of the lips. "I...Will you stay with me tonight?" she asked meekly. Her face was alight with a bright red hue, and Naminé was happy it was just the two of them. I wonder how things are going with Sora and Kairi?

Naminé shook her head. "It's not your fault. No one knew how far they'd try to take things." Travis's line about 'taking turns' made her shudder abruptly. How could people be that vile and sleep at night? Naminé, even as a Nobody, was haunted by her actions in Castle Oblivion. "And the security wasn't doing enough to help. They should have been there sooner."

"It was everything," Naminé insisted. She then drew a deep breath and released it shakily. "I was...really scared. He..." She couldn't even say his name aloud. Even the syllables felt slimy. "It was like before but worse. I thought he was going to do something really bad to me, and he wouldn't stop." Her voice had become higher, the words leaving quickly. The idea of anyone touching her like that made her sick. Roxas is the only one I want to be close to...

Naminé, her lips pulled into a gentle smile, squeezed the boy's hand affectionately. "For coming. I felt better seeing you there. It gave me the strength to break away from Owen," Naminé explained.
