yeah I had the same issue with Falco's model in the trailer until I saw his render. The lighting and dark environments make the characters look very weird

the lighting in the cutscene makes the models look weird

I think he looks better in this render

it's the same approach they did with Donkey Kong in Bananza. better get used to it because they will do that with all their franchises
