I enjoyed KH3's base combat more than KH1.

I don't know where to put... yet. In terms of story, below every title except DDD and Re:Coded, but that's all I can say right now.

Right, I'm not disappointed because I didn't have high expectations. That's an important factor to measure one's enjoyment.

I know what you mean, but in the end the context of the game was pretty much the context of the trailers. There weren't any mind blowing twists to people's interpretations.

I remember a lot of people saying "but there isn't context, it's fine, no context". LMAO...

Right, the JP fanbase also got KH X [chi], the one released exclusively in Japan, so they're kinda ahead of us in terms of following the series...

I'm just HAPPY I had fun with the game. Like, it could have been muuuuuch worse for me.

I can assure you that the japanese fanbase follows this series as much as us. That's for sure.

I have a japanese friend, haven't asked his thoughts on the game yet.

I know Utada doesn't actually play the games, but...

Even for the japanese fanbase. When I read some interviews with Yoko or Utada, for example, they kinda sound very reminiscent of KH1 and KH2.

Basically, KH3 was the big deal for everyone. I think we can all agree on this one.
