the live action reboots are dumb and i hate them oodles total waste of time, money, and resources

as far as ive ever felt ive never really felt like kingdom hearts was a disney game like it has a lot of disney of course but it feels separate from that

i will say one thing i miss about kh1 is the random secret bosses like Kurt Zisa Phantom Ice Titan now secret bosses are just upgraded story bosses

kh2 was such a tween game

I will say that I did never play coded until right before pre-kh3 release

and even that is farily incomplete

the only good kh movie is ux back cover

but really nothing about it seems to be important

nah theres nothing wrong with it, and it's a good recap episode

it was like a recap episode

but at the time it really was just a thing

i think the main thing is that coded expresses that even data can have hearts which could be something that applies to ux, it's nice in that it had applications later on

i mean dont get me wrong I like coded as a game but as a kingdom hearts game im not that into it i think the idea that people disliking it because it doesn't connect the main plot isn't necessarily wrong, people still play assassins creed games because they like the idea of the animus and stuff despite the direction it goes into but it still connects to the animus with coded, its connecting to the vague idea of heart at most rather than anything else, and more just reusing characters and reiterating kh1 in a different way but there's no real solid "i am a unique kingdom hearts game" about it
