I might be hallucinating it though at this point I've read, watched and played so much KH these past few days

Oh god that reminds me of that episode in Midnight Gospel where that one guy has to die over and over again until he finally finds the correct route of being good that breaks him out of the loop I think I've seen that form of paradox explored before where someone is made to repeatedly repeat the same part of life over and over and over again until they find the way to break out of it LMAO I think there's a vocaloid song that explores it too Hang on let me read up again but I do think I saw somewhere mentioned that the Book of Prophecies includes different routes

He says so himself when he's talking to Ira "We have to focus on what comes after. There's no use thinking of ways to change events that we know are gonna happen." That quote might be back to front in my screens LMAO but it works either way around

I think as well as why MoM isn't super a bad guy ™️ he just knows things can't be changed so why not just accept them until the point you no longer know the future

Which is why MoM wants to see what happens afterwards

We do know there is a form of paradox happening though All the events happening in the past can't be changed but there's a point where the gazing eye can't see past

And that's being hopeful But that's one of the reasons I love theories for it and when theories turn out wrong Because in a year or two we'll have completely new context to theorise over or add onto

That's true LMAO one of the main things about Kingdom Hearts is nothing is never explained until like Maybe 4-5 games later

he's the only person who mentions a war prior to the one we know of with the foretellers

Though that again is going off what MoM has said himself only isn't it ?

But MoM does mention he was a child when the keyblade war began But we see him as an adult before the events begin

That's true and the rules of time travel are already incredibly chaotic as is

Not to say that is Ienzo he's explaining to by the way it just stood out to me as Luxu explaining time

The way I see it is he doesn't know he's MoM in the present MoM is an adult and sounds mature but Ienzo's like what roughly 17/18 years old by KH3 time? He's only a few years older than Sora and Riku Xigbar's character file story comes across like him explaining his role as Luxu to someone who doesn't understand yet

With Ansem's secret report stating Ienzo was the one to mention the lab in the first place the scene with Ansem the Wise, Braig and Xehanort where Ienzo seems to be aware more is going on The scene with Xigbar and Zexion randomly added in in KH 2: Final Mix I do admit Ienzo being MoM is me stretching but the games have repeatedly been flagging Ienzo/Zexion as an important character and his weapon is important

That's true but Ienzo has repeatedly shown to be doing things in the background as well

To be fair though when does Nomura actually add characters who are truly not connected to all the other characters in a big way ? The fact we also have so many characters who look similar to each other

They're not identical matches but Book of Retribution is formatted less like a Lexicon and more like a storybook with pictures Which IS similar to what Book of Prophecies is like Book of Prophecies is also more than just a book of events to come It also holds information on heartless and other bits of important knowledge That's kind of left open exactly how it tells that information but if it holds explanations of all words to do with the world of kingdom hearts It could be described as a lexicon too :fingergun: But that's unknown and could be a stretch LMAO

Yeah that's what I've also noticed The scene with Xigbar could of been with anyone else but it's specifically with Zexion Axel specifically names taking out Zexion when he also played a role in taking out Vexen too Actually Vexen wasn't named at all during that conversation Only Marluxia and Zexion A lot of people have theorised Zexion was higher ranked than Vexen for some reason because of how Zexion talks down to Vexen, tells Vexen what to do and the fact Saix wanted him personally taken down by Axel Which is never explained why Saix holds such a grudge against Zexion personally LMAO A lot of these scenes are shown but never given context to but that's a consistent thing One or two scenes I could write off as just random scenes they added to fill out game time but they start piling up fast Something I've been trying to do is find every single character file on Ienzo/Zexion across all the games but sadly my old consoles are gone and I haven't completed the games on my Xbox ? And finding them online has been a pain

Because I remember watching the 24 hour livestreams of kingdom hearts before KH3 release and it'd be like "And suddenly! Ienzo or Zexion scene!" Just out of nowhere with little to no context

It's actually one of the moments + the scene with Xigbar that had me start watching more carefully

I think MoM also says sarcastically "Never heard that one before, a keyblade wielder willing to side with the darkness?" Which reminded me of Riku again LAMp Which reminded me of Riku again LMA Which reminded me of Riku again LMAO The battle between Zexion and Riku is repeated again and I honestly can't work out why other than it being highlighted it's important There's of course the first time in CoM but then again randomly in Days And I really can't work out why Xion would of witnessed that moment exactly

I thiiiink it's to do with the timing in the game since Xigbar's revealed pretty late in the game ? BUT I did notice they linger on Xigbar's hooded face for a good few seconds before it cuts to that INCREDIBLY long cutscene of Xemnas walking down stairs ? Why was that scene so long I love it because it really just keeps going as all he does is walk down steps ? It makes me laugh every time I see the scene But I did screen the bit where it lingers on Xigbar

Yeah I completely forgot about that until I was rewatching all the scenes back and I facepalmed for me missing that for so long while I thought about it ? It feels like a really obvious connection but my brain was too busy fine combing everything else
