Again, this is Kingdom Hearts and so many different forms and lookalikes and returns have happened and every time it is explained in a new way. What a character says may not be the entire truth. Who's to say Strelitzia isn't just assuming it's the afterlife simply because she remembers being struck down? Nothing is a guarantee at the moment and we know nothing about Quadratum and won't until KH4 is out.
