  1. but the site definitely mentioned connecting joycon 1s to play 1-2 switch at least, so at the very least it is possible (for clarification, joycon 1 has the IR sensor in the right switch which is no longer present in the 2s)
  2. they are, at least for those iffy compatibility games like ring fit and 1-2 switcfh idk if they're allowed on all games
  3. you can, you just can't use upraded features without paying
  4. we're already halfway there with PokeBank or whatever they had LMAO
  5. even PC gaming is going down the drain with little optimization and more focus on AI features that "fix" the game like frame gen
  6. nah its just a fact
  7. and there's nothing we can do about it lol this is honestly the ONLY reason i'm still debating on getting a Day 1 tbh. i'm really not happy about the pricing of games but a Day 1 NS2 will be much more likely to be hacked again lmfao
  8. they all are, theyre just not afraid to show their colors anymore one company dips their toes, the rest follow, and every gen they just keep testing the waters more and more and the rest will keep following
  9. yeah there's no out of the box boost mode like sony does, if you want any sort of upgraded features you need to pay for the upgrade it wont run better without the upgrade lol
  10. exaclty lol
  11. its like if you wanted to buy the PS5 upgrade of a game rather than continue using the PS4 version, you can spend that 10 bucks or whatever they usually charge to upgrade
  12. like botw and totk
  13. yes, 95% of them will be playable right out the box. certain ones like ring fit or 1-2 switch are varying levels of compatible due to different controller hardware the paying comes in for the games that get NS2 upgraded features
  14. nah im exaggerating sorta
  15. we can! FOR A FEE!!
  16. BD2 is on switch 1 and on a cartridge right? and I'm sure this remaster is just running on that same engine so yeah, EASILY
  17. im talking about the XCX one specifically
  18. more specifically, it's a function in the code that doesnt properly run on the Switch 1, likely because it has to do with the new Nvidia chip in the NS2 that deals with AI frame gen as well we're already seeing it with Bravely Default Remaster being game key only when that game could EASILY fit on a cartridge
  19. with switch 2 games being beeg(FF7R, Elden Ring, etc size games), most third party devs are just going to opt for the "game key card" option for physical releases rather than trying to compress onto the available cartridge sizes
  20. say sike right now https://x.com/wario64/status/1907546053366124720?s=46&t=lALucAEVo8NuE-spGBmA0Q PLEASE PLEASE DUCK MAN PLEASE ITS ALREADY STARTING
  21. because companies are too lazy to learn optimal compression methods
  22. and that also just brings up the question of: are these going to be one use/account keys?? like is the resell value entirely DEAD after the first tie to an account??
  23. you still need the disc in to verify and play your games on ps5, but at least it HAD data to install from locally
  24. yeah its taking a step even further away from what sony's currently doing
  25. no no, every single ps5 game does this already. unless you mean on switch 2, in which case yeah most 3rd party is probably going to just do this to be lazy
