it's not necessarily one to one character trees, but prerequisites. you don't go from Shadow to Roxas for example, just finishing the Shadow route enables Roxas in the next cycle

yall help me figure out Mickey in the KH Tamagotchi no one in either the KH or Tama communities have gotten him yet apparently? According to the wiki, some characters can only be obtained on a subsequent run after getting another character on a previous run(e.g. you will never get Roxas or Namine until you've gotten Shadow unlocked once). so my best guess would be Donald and Goofy may be requirements for Mickey? i dont think it would be Riku since he's basically the guarantee if you meet no other requirements in a run

I guess the other thing I've left out is the difference between the two. KH is an ongoing series so all of that feels moot in the end, but thinking about it now, IX is a single game getting all of that which tbf is actually pretty sick

"all out" is an overstatement, but i do get where you're coming from with FF8 lmao IX so far feels like theyre getting similar treatment to KH. Lots of nothing burgers throughout the year until they just go silent again. Hopefully I'm wrong and this is actually leading up to the IX Remake announcement, but we'll see
