i will admit it is really cool to see them bring it over to kart racers, but i still wouldn't call it innovative

not specifically kart racers, but racing sims in general have been open world for ages

even MK going open world is not new for racing games

yeah the new stuff looks fun but its not innovative in the least lol

the indies, dk, duskbloods, and probably just an in depth look at the console itself

mine is still in great shape, but i also still use it for those very same modding purposes so i won't be selling mine anytime soon lol

or sell your v1 switch on eBay for way more, knowing its modding capabilities lol

the transition from paying $80 for a limited edition physical copy with tons of fun goodies, to now not even being able to own a box is so firetrucking grim. i just can't get over this

also, that was said very recently in terms of future plans. typically things like that will take a few years to phase into, especially with games already in development before making that decision. theyd probably have to decide on the cost to port on the spot before release vs just letting all the old projects phase out shortly before the new plan kicks in

nah i doubt we're seeing that for a bit it was a tease

treehouse after e3 died has always been about showing in depth looks at recently revealed games at e3 they did show off a few new indies but nothing big

you can skip to the announcement to see it in action here, no freezing anymore lol

if switch 2 is just going to become the port machine then a steam deck or doing what i do and using my phone with a controller for portable play is the much better option

elden ring was definitely struggling

not in that list since those would be the free ones and I'm sure they want you to pay for bigger game upgrades like botw and xcx

are we sure that's not like. it's saying these games get FREE upgrades the others get the paid one xcx should def have an upgrade
