See, I rarely play a game and then replay it and watch every single cutscene, so story isn't entirely a factor for me when considering what KH game I'm going back to. I think NieR: Automata is the only game I could see myself going back to nowadays and rewatching every scene in it's entirety.

The Gummi’s are good and don’t kill your pace like in 2 and 1, the Keyblades are varied enough that if you want you can switch it up on NG+ runs, and the difficulty is so customizable that if you want every playthrough can be something different

Hot take-KH3 might have the best replay value in the series, especially post ReMind

The big ones missing for me ar ReMind tracks. Ideally the entire Data Org + Nachtflugel I guess. Oh and Aqua (Dark Dive) too, that track is so good.

Nah, but I bet even Nomura wouldn't be involved if they made DLC Especially if it was just tracks.

I bet it comes down more to how the game sold than what the plans were. If it sold well, then it'll probably get supported by a C-Team while the main KH teams keep doing their thing

It's a little unfortunate, the community would probably be super receptive to a track DLC, but the devs intended the game to come out and never get updated, so it's probably never happening.

After playing that game as much as I have, I can't exactly say I'm surprised lol Still though, that's a pretty insane find.

Everyone freaked out. But in fairness, around that time we were freaking out just as much if not more about Riku-Replica being a thing.

But honestly, Aqua (Dark Dive) is worth all of that for me.

I think that's fair, but I'd be okay with that. The biggest miss for me is how Nomura managed to notice that Riku has been where she is but then doesn't really do anything with it past a cool moment.

I still think anti-aqua is cool The only thing I'd change is letting Riku fight her all the way through. Sora saving her in a cutscene is fine, but Riku should've seen the fight through instead of handing it to Sora.

I guess my question would be what the 2022 game is Does it have any relation to Yozora? Or is it something else?

That’s fair. But like, I hate recom because of the combat, but i certainly don’t think it’s a series killer

They all have different strengths and weaknesses, but people act like BBS and DDD killed the series or something.

I would argue that no KH game is actually a bad game
