yeye, that he doesn't dance the same way ven does but i think they strike the same pose, i can see if i can make a side-by-side this is so low quality sfsdf but ye, every time i see one of these i think of the other

i kinda love the way that the skateboarding/dancing is a motif for sora, roxas, vanitas and ventus throughout the series as just a little thing to highlight they way all of them are connected (sora's breakdancing in kh3, vanitas & ventus basically skateboarding on keyblades as part of their moveset, etc)

i have a feeling that if ventus and Darkness do merge in this finale, they'll take the form of dark inferno, but that's just kinda a hunch playing off the secret boss and re:mind's re-emphasis of it.. i'm just rly excited to see what we get these next few weeks also just had the realization that dark inferno would probably be a really easy boss to model in khux because it's basically just an ogre/invisible.... thinks

ux hasn't made an explicit connection to vanitas, true; i personally would still really like for vanitas to be a fragment of ventus's darkness that merged with Darkness to create the being we see in vanitas. but with how the latest ux update had ventus referring to himself as "pure light," the implication there seems to be that he never had any darkness within him in the first place, and therefore nothing that could be turned into vanitas. idk; im a huge fan of the original dynamic between ventus and vanitas, so everything re:mind and khux have done to change that interpretation of them makes me kinda :// but we still don't know Everything yet, so i am. Looking. i am simply Observing.

yeye thats the point; the central story delivery is the games, so even if the novels give more internal introspection and characterization that the game's can't provide due to the medium, it's still the game's story that takes precedence at the end of the day. like i love how the novels give vanitas a lot more personal motivation as to why he wants to become the x-blade beyond the game itself just kinda making him xehanort's partner in crime with a chip on his shoulder, but they lean super heavy into the "yeah vanitas is totally 100% just ventus's darkness turned human, no other storyline here" angle, and since khux seems to be rewriting that sort of angle, it doesn't really matter how good that characterization was. sad but that's just how it is at the end of the day love living in a headspace that separates canon from fanon tho (ur also right about not everyone reading the novels too; they definitely get a lot less notoriety than the manga at least, and i personally have only read bits of the bbs novel purely For that vanitas content bc the games themselves have so little. them being secondary is completely reasonable in that sense)

oh i still put Way too much time into it jsjdjdjdj though i love the concept that someone would be too lazy to spend the extra time getting the 100k enemies (which overall isnt a Lot of time) but they would instead rather spend twice as much time playing all songs and calculating their exact time, enemy count, and EPS ratio :kirbylol:

:sit: i think it was mentioned that there was a glitch regarding clothing/avatar parts not being able to be equipped in certain scenarios? but idk given how the app was down last night and seemed to get some kind of update, everything just feels Weird

it sucks that dives and bosses are useless when going for the enemy trophies, bc you still need to play them on all difficulties for the full plat :cri:

actually no, its bc AFO gives you 331 enemies total while 13th struggle give 306 in a full chain tbh i should have just looked at EPS count and not total enemy count lmaooo

yeye... i actually dont know why but i placed all for one as the 4th best song to play and 13th struggle as the 7th, even though AFO nets less enemies and is 20 seconds longer.... :clownlos:

yeye same, but these are the only 10 songs that gave me a EPS count of 2 or more when i was calculating though i based the song length on the amount of time it takes for the track to load in until it fades to black, not counting any chest rng, result/reward screens, or loading times even with those though, i think the top 5 would have remained the same

i made a top 10 list when i did the plat speedrun but idk why i put them in the order i did; based off enemy per second count, vector and 13th struggle are at different places than i said initially lol

they actually aren't haha vector is the 5th most efficient and 13th struggle is the 7th DD is 2nd, its got a lot of enemies but a solid chunk of the chain is glides (which dont count) and multi-attack enemies (who only count as one enemy)

eh, it only takes 10 straight hours if you only play what lies beneath on proud playing every single song once will net you the 50k though

manga is peak give olette her nail bat back to the mickey thing tho, we get to see the stuff leading up to mickey getting KKD, but we don't get to see anything mickey does between leaving disney castle and running into aqua
