1. As long time JRPG player and by extension longtime FF player. How FF8 works feels counterintuitive, as if it works against itself therefore the player. Like what do you mean I can’t level or else the enemies scale? What do you mean using equippable magic will lower my stats the more I use it? Maybe I might give it a 3rd chance but I’m probably just gonna have the battle boosters permanently on and just play it for the story (remastered version exclusive feature).
2. First of all there’s
Whats in the box, who is the Master of Masters, what is the plan of the MoM, what is Quadratum. Etc. The older questions got asked, these are new ones
3. I’m hoping for hard reboot after his retirement. I don’t trust anyone else to take over the ongoing plot upon his retirement, that’s his masterpiece and his alone.
4. We’ve only just started the new arc, Nomura did say he’s almost retiring so he has the ending of the series in mind.
5. Nope because it’s a game for everyone.
6. I mean that’s how ongoing stories work?
7. Anthologies are mainstream
8. Which ongoing stories in games are considered niche because of this.
9. This is normal for a series having a ongoing story
10. Yep
11. Yeah it’s a lot, def not the only series to do this. I know a few (Trails being one of them). However to get KH, release order has always been the key.
12. So I had a thought, if Octopath 0 and that upcoming Final Fantasy Resonance are both games meant to be their retired mobile gatcha games come back to life in a full single player RPG format. That means Kingdom Hearts Union X and Dark Road can return.
13. Rn I’m going through Trails, it’s kept me extremely busy enough that’s for sure…
14. Man it really has been four years since the announcement… The wait for Kingdom Hearts 4 is painful, it always will be. However this is why I can’t stress enough the importance of having more than 1 favorite franchise. Let those eyes wonder, play more games! It’ll do you some good ☺️
15. Oh 100% among other things too, I won’t say due to spoilers
16. I just watched the Super Mario Galaxy Movie with my partner, I found it was ok. We found it wasn’t as good as the first movie and while we did like it, we didn’t love it either. Pacing was a major issue for the movie among a few other things. Overall I thought it was a 6/10.
17. Click here to view video
18. I tried looking it up, I’ve gotten results like “cadence” but I’m not sure if that’s it…
19. Basically their signature, you hear it and you know you’re playing a Falcom game.
20. Connecting phrases, yeah I’ll have to look it up
21. Falcom absolutely spams this specific sequence in their songs, not that it’s a problem but I’ve def noticed it
22. Is there anyone in the chat that know music theory? What is this part of a song called? I hear it a lot in JRPG's and I've always been curious about it. Click here to view video
23. Now that I’ve finished the Pokèmon DLC, I continue my personal Trails journey with Zero! I’ve been hearing this is one and its direct sequel are the best ones. I’m gonna hold it to that!
24. It’s not really about KH though, it does come up as a part of the topic but generally nothing to do with it
25. Is it ok if I post a video I just made here? It does involve Kingdom Hearts!
