  2. That theory works but I believe Luxu never had a Darkness with him until he sent the True Dandelion into the future. The reason I say this is because only 12 darknesses can be accounted for. Seven were lost after the war, and six remained, we know one was within Ven, one guided Maleficent back to the real world and four were sealed by the Player. The one with.Ven was sent to the future leaving the one that guided Maleficent unknown, all we know is that it spoke with Luxu when he sent the True Dandelion into the future. I believe that Darkness is the one Luxu is meant to possess Remember, Seven Darknesses were lost after the war, I believe the MoM already had his Darkness and that’s why it was always able follow him and is why we see the conversation between them on the hillside. The Lost Page was meant to sow darkness between the five Foretellers which would lead to them acquiring the other six, but Luxu was already told of the Lost Pages meaning BEFORE he left to begin his role and in addition to that, he not only never read the Book of Prophecy (yet), but also did not partake in the war and had been following orders the entire time... up until he sent the True Dandelion to the future. During that cutscenes, he states that while the Darkness only peeked it never got a good look at “this part”. How would Luxu know it was part of the Book if he never read it. I believe that after failing to accept the fate the MoM lad out for him and the others, he read the book and decided to act on his own, which is what makes him the traitor, which is something the MoM is depending on because it his actions that ensure everything, remember, the book doesn’t tell everything, only what the MoM felt was important enough to write down (literally his words), Luxu may have learned what would transpire and then decides to act on his own and then realized that acting on his own is what the M.o.M wants and that doing so ensures everything, he just can’t change anything (Look, but don’t touch). In doing so, it allowed him to finally become the traitor so he could harbor a Darkness, the one that guided Maleficent. After he uses the Lifeboat he then asks the Darkness how many were left before he draws his Keyblade stating that he knew one was in the data world, but not were the others were until it reveals that the other five were still in the data world. I believe the seventh darkness was within the Player and not Luxu which would explain one thing I see people over looking: Nightmare Chirinthy. Nightmare Chirinthy stated that Nightmares exist to help people sever their connection and break free. The Darkness seek vessels in order to obtain wills of their own and break free from the hive mind (Luxu states this during the cutscenes and it angers Darkness). When Nightmare Chirinthy is defeated it states “Our bond has been severed”, this might have suppressed the Darkness within the Player for the time being as well as separated them from the Hive Mind (which is how Player was able to fool the other four)into believing they were possessed). Also, after Ephemer sends the Player and the Four Darkness to the cable dimension (or whatever that was), they tell the Darkness within Player to leave Players body before it dies. Now remember:: Seven Darknesses were lost, six remained • One is in Ven who escaped into the future (1) • The M.o.M definitely has one, the one we see him speak to (1) • Six others were lost (6) • Four were trapped by the player and Ephemer (4) • One guided Maleficent and confronts Luxu who draws his Keyblade and states that it was in his way while the Darkness rises into the air stating Luxu was in his before the screen fades to Black. Luxu is seen later talking to Brain, but not the darkness, which cannot be a coincidence since we know it can’t be destroyed and it is never seen again after its confrontation...but Luxu is (1) In short, 7 were sealed, Six remained. If one remained in Ven ( as Vanitas is proof it’s still was with him) and it went into the future with him, it couldn’t have taken the Player, (Ephemer and Skuld believed that was the case) One escaped into the real world and guided Maleficent, but never returned to the Data World and four were with Player after Ephemer sent them to the Cable Dimension who also thought Player was possessed by one. The question is if four of them were there with Player and two were no longer in the Data World, why did the other Darknesses assume Player was possessed by one. The answer being that Player already had one and was able to fool them as they had suppressed it after defeating Nightmare Chirinthy When the Darkness emerged from Ven, it stated he was the chosen child meant to carry Darkness into the future as stated within the book of prophecies, but it didn’t get a good look and the MoM is vague af, even to them. I think they made a made a mistake and that the Player is the fated child because remember, at the end the Player’s Heart merges with the heart of a newborn child, the heart of Xehanort, who is the fated “Dark Master “ who seeks tto repeat the Keyblade War. I think what makes Xehanort the Dark Master is the the Thirteenth Darkness that was within the player’s heart and that it was passed onto Xehanort following their death. Luxu gained his after he sent the True Dandelion into the future as I think that exact action is what finally made him the traitor (he states in the cutscene that he was doing this for himself) and allowed him to finally take in one of the Darknesses (he had been following his orders down to the last word before that moment)
