My brother and I having convos about church sound literally like them. The funniest thing is, The Al Bhed aren’t even atheists? Like they still believe in Yevon, but they use the teachings as a guide instead of seeing them as law. Not only that, but they look at some of the dumber laws (read: no machina) and question them because they are actual hindrances to the comfort and advancement of people. Tidus himself is more of an atheist bc he existed before Yevon and Sin and is like, “no dude. All of this is weird and dumb and I don’t fwi.” He literally calls the sending dance “creepy” and if that ain’t the most atheist thing.

I have been slapped with knowledge 🌈 So anyway, I was looking over Rikku's design from FFX (not 10-2) and realized it looked off because every piece of clothing is a different color which made it look more chaotic than it actually was. But, considering she is Al Bhed and they are travelers, it makes sense that their clothes looked hodgepodged because they're collecting articles along the way, so it's actually genius in hindsight.

So it make me wonder if they think Tidus is mixed bc he’s got blonde hair like the Al Bhed, but blue eyes and melanin like Yevonites. It makes me wonder if they saw his hair slowly grow out the blonde and they thought he was dying.
