Getting Oathkeeper was tedious as hell, just gonna say that right now. 💀

The overreliance on Flowmotion in 3 is kinda irritating. It worked so well in 3D's because of it being on the handheld of the same name. But it's just kinda clunky on PS4.

Video game fans are never happy, never satisfied. KH fans are no different. My main issue with KH2 is that it locks Thundaga behind an optional world, personally.

Oh, there's nothing wrong with the silliness. All the doom and gloom is balanced out by the awkward dialogue and goofy shenanigans.

I mean... It's pretty hokey in places, especially in KH1.

I think that's a bit of an L take on Sakurai's part. No disrespect to him, obviously, because I love Smash, but denying your fans content like that because you're just gonna see it online is really just a poor business decision.

For example, for Dark Souls III, you couldn't play past Abyss Watchers if given an advance copy for your channel. For Persona 5, everything after Yusuke's Awakening was embargoed. That one actually lasted for many months after the game was released.

But they always have a way of making sure the whole game isn't put up by allowing them to play only up to a certain point, too.

A lot of companies actually give LPers advance copies of their games just to play them a bit for their audiences before they release them fully to the public. That's why Dark Souls III had gameplay going up before they actually released the game.

If a game is good and/or marketed well enough, the devs will make back all their money and then some.

That, and they might not want to commit to getting the game themselves, so they watch someone else play it to see if it was worth skipping out on.

It's for convenience and entertainment.
