I guess you could say Maul, because they both served the evil master because they were abused into submission and had a bone to pick with the good guys. Let me break it down Terra-Anakin: proficient warrior with emotional baggage they’re told to bury until it manifests into a darkness that they’re told to fear and suppress. Aqua-Kenobi: The more experienced, level-headed person in the room. Keeps the others in check, and wants them to be happy even if it requires going against what they were taught. Ventus-Ashoka: A youngling who joins the adults under mysterious circumstances. Ends up being treated like their adopted child. Their endangerment spurs the adults to action. Happens to wield their weapon in reverse grip. Eraqus-Yoda: Master who indoctrinates their students to their way of thinking, and keeps them from exploring their feelings and learning to process their emotions. Xehanort-Palpatine: A powerful villain who sees an opportunity to turn the powerful warrior into their greatest asset. Gives them the reassurance they needed that darkness doesn’t need to suppressed and emotions don’t have to be bottled up. Eventually turns them on their own allies. I know at the end of the day it’s just tropes and stereotypes, but I grew up on Star Wars so that’s where my mind goes in these situations.

Do y’all see this? Terra - Anakin Skywalker Aqua - Obi-Wan Kenobi Ventus - Ashoka Tano Eraqus - Yoda (or anyone on the council really) Xehanort - Palpatine I just feel like there’s some strong story parallels.
