I've been hearing that there is quite a bit of "kill all heartless in one turn" content that is impossible for f2p players to complete.

I am wondering if it is even worth using any medals of 3 or 4 gauges with a max guilt of 25%? Wouldn't it just be better to focus on 1 and some 2 gauge medals instead so that damage would be better in two and three turns instead of one?

I started playing only 2 weeks maybe so the only event medal I have is Sweetheart Beast, and I am saving up my Jewels for the Avatar board so I am not getting premium medals anytime soon...

is it worth it. you will still need burst dmg medal for 1-turn kill. my advice is just try to hold on into whatever medal you have. they gonna release proud mode next year and this will require you wide varieties of medals. save as much jewel and try getting illust.kairi later, this medal is a really must have in JP ver. and will help you alot with end-game content. 

 

so far from playing JP,story mode, i don't see any problem with "killing heartless in one turn" with buff->swipe or tap. there's usually a stronger heartless in a mission that might troubles you getting the 1 turn but it's not a big deal. the only problem with i see with this challenge is proud mode and Moogle of Glory quests but don't bother with it, most player won't be able to clear it with global current meta. 

Normally, we 1-turn kill the enemies because we get more LUX/HP and most importantly, it restores your Special Attack Gauges more and also to avoid enemy attacks and status ailments. Not just in Story quests but also Event quests and in Coliseum.

 

Most of Level 1 Bonus Medals are good for F2P players, whether it's 1-gauge, 2-gauge, or 3-gauge. Just keep and Guilt some of them like

 

1-gauge:

Wakka

Tidus

Stitch

Selphie

 

2-gauge:

Goofy Ver. A

KH Sora Ver. A

Donald Ver. A

Jiminy Cricket (if you don't have better heal Medals)

Pence, Hayner, Olette (if you don't have better Strength raise Medals)

 

3-gauge:

Paine

Rikku

Yuna

 

As for 4-gauge Level 1 Bonus Medals, they're from events and they're also very good. For F2P players, never look down on Level 1 Bonus Medals even though the max Bonus is just 25%. Generally, 1-gauge and 2-gauge are good but sometimes the damage is uncomparable to 3-gauge or 4-gauge. So just use a mix of them.
