Yusuke Naora has retired after 24 years of service at Square Enix Japan, he's worked on numerous titles such as FF6,FF7,FF8, Front Mission, Type 0, Type 0 HD, FFXV, FF10, FF10 HD, Before Crisis FF7, Dirge Of Cerberus, The Bouncer, Chrono Trigger and even Chaos Rings.

 

He served as art director and field graphic designer for a lot of Square Enix's big titles.

 

Through twitter, Naora has stated he wants to spend more time with his family, and is returning to his hometown of Izumo (Japan).

 

A legend has left us!

 

I feel as though he's made the right decision here. He's made his mark for both Squaresoft and Square Enix. Family comes first so I respect him for that. In the meantime, all the best for his future endeavours!
