So, I have searched the whole internet, but I can't seem to find an answer. I've complete Unchained X's story so far and now I'm powering up my medals bit by bit. I started with the "extremely powerful hit" ones and the ones with a "hit with no attributes". My question is about the ones that only say "deals XX hits" without saying if it's powerful, moderately or slightly hit. Are they worth leveling up or should I level up the other ones?

That all depends on the multiplier of the special attack.

The "extremly powerful" or "slightly powerful" part depends on the number of hits I think. The less hits the more powerful the hits. Otherwise a medal with many hits would be automatically better, which isn't the case.

So better level up the medals with a high multiplier :)

Don't get carried away by the terms "slightly/moderately/extremely/exceptionally powerful". They're just based on the damage multipliers of the special attacks.

For single-target special attacks, "extremely powerful" is normally used for damage higher than around x3.00. For all-target special attacks, it's normally used for damage higher than around x1.80 or 1.90.

These Medals normally have higher cost on their special attacks. If you're only using these Medals, your special attack gauges will be emptied in a blink of an eye. For those that have no mention of such terms, they normally have a damage range for their special attacks depending on certain conditions.

Use all types of Medals having different special attacks. Don't discriminate between Medals having different terms of their special attacks. Look at both the cost and damage.
