Final Fantasy XV PC may take "Over a year"

Posted

http://www.pcgamer.com/final-fantasy-xv-director-says-it-would-take-more-than-a-year-to-bring-it-to-the-pc/

"Not talking about something real, just an idea, if we worked on a PC version of what I have very clear [in mind] is that we would work to provide a better version of what we have now on consoles," Tabata said [translated from Spanish] when asked about the "unlikely event," in the words of the interviewer, of a PC release. "We could say that something like this would take us more than a year. We should work to adapt the engine, which is very laborious, and from there to develop its course."

And my wait continues.......

Well that's no surprise. I pretty much expected SE to release the PC version in a year or two since they have been releasing their FF games to PC lately.

It's definitely going to happen, every main FF game besides 11 and 12 is on steam (They are obviously going to port Zodiac Age onto steam after it releases), with a game as good looking as this it'll sell like hotcakes on steam.

Anyway, Tabata san said in April that they want to use DX12 rather than DX11 which the console versions use, they want this port to be really high quality so it'll take time. I can gladly wait, it looks fine on PS4.

Ok. I don´t own an Xbox One or a PS4 and the PC port was my only option but it´s seems it´s going to take a while...
