Posted

THAT'S RIGHT AQUA I'M STEALIN' YOUR LINES HUR HURR.

Okay people, this is a 1x1 with me and Lexi! No one else can join, kay? 8D

Anyway, the RP doesn't really have a storyline/plot, but could possibly form one eventually. Just about two teens, [13 years old to be exact] that are in 7th grade. Bleh. owo

My character:

Name: Blake

Age: 13 durr c:

Gender: Male

Appearance: Posted Image Except, without the dragon tattoo.

Personality: Too lazy to explain, but you'll see :B

Bio: He had always been so stubborn and emotionless until the age of 7, when he met [i'll edit when I know your character's name owo]. When he met her and became her friend, it was almost as if someone flipped a switch, and he was happy and open. And, again, you may discover more when the RP starts. c:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll be the one to start the story, so just create your character for now, pleases x3

Name: Rachael Lane

Age: 13. derp.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Posted Image

Personality: Normally very sweet and social, but she gets very cocky at times, though never mean or stuck-up.

Bio: She moved to a new town, terrified of what she'd find. When she made it to her new school, she immediately became best friends with a new boy named Blake. At first he'd seemed pretty mopey, but gradually became more happy and social, a way she'd always been.

Blake woke up to his mom's yelling from downstairs. Most people would set an alarm clock, but he hated waking up to that beeping sound. He slowly sat up and yawned. He looked out the window next to his bed. He could see his bus coming down the street. It had a few kids to pick up on the same street before it reached his house, though, so he had a bit of time. He knew Racheal was already on, because they rode the same bus to school everyday, and the bus always stopped by her house before his.

He flung out of bed, and the covers went flying everywhere. He didn't care. He got dressed quickly, and grabbed his one-strap school bag thingy and flung it over his shoulder. As he ran down the stairs, he remembered it was Friday. Finally. Plus, only a month of school left before summer.

He didn't have time to eat breakfast, or any of that. He just ran toward the door, the bus was almost to his house. His mom stopped him and tried to give him a kiss on the cheek, but he pulled away. He hated when she did that, he was too old for that. He pushed the door open and ran outside, the bus had just got to his house.

He stepped inside and looked around. He saw Racheal in a seat. He spotted her easy, because there was just some special thing about her that seperated her from the rest. As he walked down the isle, some of his friends waved at him and 'knuckle punched' him. Him and Racheal were both pretty popular.

He sat down next to Racheal and smiled at her.

Rachael jumped in surprise. She smiled when she realized it was Blake who'd sat down beside her. She tucked her incompleted math homework back in her binder. "Hey, watch my aim.." She whispered to Blake, and aimed her pencil like a spear. She snapped her wrist forward, and it hit the busdriver. "WAAAH!" He screeched to a halt in the middle of the road. Behind them, cars started honking, and eventually started swerving around the bus.

"WHO THREW THAT PENCIL!" He marched down the aisle. When no one answered, he stomped back to his chair, muttering under his breath. He picked up the pencil that'd nailed him directly in the back of the head. He twisted it, and then sighed. It was covered in pink glitter, and had 'Rachael Alexandra Lane' inscribed in the side. He shook his head. "Rachael Lane--"

Rachael jumped out of her seat and grabbed Blake's hand, pulling him with her. "Hey, sorry about this, Mr. Smithson. But we've decided we're going to walk to school. Burn calories after breakfast!" She yanked the lever that opened the doors. The lever slammed into the bus driver again. "OOOF!" When he managed to sit up, he yelled so loud that though they were already down the block, she and Blake could hear him scream: "RACHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEL!"

((fail post is fail ._.))

Blake couldn't help but start laughing as they walked down the block. When he stopped, he noticed that he hadn't let go of her hand. "...Heh..." His face turned a reddish color, but he looked the other way so she wouldn't see. Then he let go of her hand. He walked next to her the rest of the way to school.

(Sorry about the short post, couldn't think of much. Maybe we can skip the whole school day, because I hate school even in roleplaying xD)

((I'm too lazy for long posts xD Let's keep 'em short 8D))

Rachael felt her cheeks heat up when Blake let go of her hand. School was ahead. She started jogging towards the building so Blake wouldn't see the reddish tint to her cheeks. "S-See ya, Blake!"

~End of School Day~

Rachael bolted from the science lab. Partly, she wanted the heck out of there. It was a glorified prison. Mostly, though, she just wanted to see Blake. She refused to let herself blush again at that thought. She ran her fingers through her hair before running out the door where he'd be waiting. Taking a deep breath, she confidently swung it open. "Hey, Blake!"

Blake opened his eyes when the plane started to shake. Seeing it was going through turbulence, he immediately thought of Rachael's safety. They had been the closest friends for so long, that's just how it was. He looked over at her. "Rachael, are you okay?" He asked. Suddenly he felt the plane take a sudden change of direction. He shot his head toward the window. The plane was going down. He didn't give up hope though. He spotted an island in the distance, but the plane was sure to miss it.

But it was possible they could land on it with parachutes. Without a word, just a serious look on his face, he shot up and frantically started searching for them. But their caretaker already knew where they were. He grabbed them and handed them to each of them, including the pilot, while he was screaming this 'safety first' stuff.

Blake turned to see Rachael. He smiled at her, like he always did whenever he saw her. It was almost automatic. He took a step toward her, so they were a bit closer. "Well, it's finally the weekend." He said, smile still across his face. He looked toward the sky. It was blue and sunny, unlike how it had been, during winter: That dull, white color that he hated. It was starting to turn humid outside as well, only a month until summer. "And almost summer."

"Summer..." Rachael sighed, looking up at the sky. "No school--halleluyah," She laughed, and glaned at Blake. "Though you're about as fun as school." Seeing the expression on Blake's face, she added. "Kidding, silly. I mean, come on, I was the one who threw the pencil. You can be as epic at me at times." She giggled, and grabbed his hand. "Hey, I'll race you home, Blake!"

Since Blake was already holding her hand, when she started to run, he stopped her and pulled her back to where she was. "Why home?" He let go of her hand. "Why not somewhere else? It's just, it's always the same thing everyday..."

Soon he realized, she could've thought that he was implying he wanted her to 'run away' with him. His eyes widened a bit, he didn't mean anything like that. "I mean, our parents aren't gonna realize if we're gone for just a while, right?" He asked quickly.

(Oh Blake, you naughty boy 8D /shot)

Rachael looked at Blake for a minute. "Huh..." She murmered. "Well, I guess not. A rule-breaking Blake!" She winked. "I like this style." She glanced back down the street. She could see her mom on the porch reading a book, waiting for her. "I'm sure that they won't notice..." She looked back at him, and grinned. "Alright--sweet! So where to?"

  • Author

Blake wasn't really sure where he would take her... but he was sure something new would happen. Something inside him just told him. "Come on," He took her hand and started to walk with her somewhere.

(Stealing from a certain fan-fic I read one time...)

By the time they had got to the back of the school building, and no one else was watching them... he pulled her hand too hard, and caused her to trip. "Oh," He quickly bent down to help her up, but when he did, he again pulled just a little too hard accidentally... and their lips touched when he pulled her up. His eyes widened a bit... but then closed. He was right, this was something new. He didn't pull away, either. They had been the closest friends for so many years now, and he couldn't deny that there was a part inside him that wanted them to be more than just friends.

(i herd u liek it fast 8D)

Rachael blinked, surprised. Her knees stung from hitting the pavement, but she wasn't really concentrating on that. Even if she'd ruined her only good pair of Levi's left, she didn't particularly care yet. Slowly, she realized what was going on, and Rachael's eyes slipped shut. Some little part of her mind was screaming (WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, RACHAEL!?) She'd been ignoring it, but finally realizing the full extent of what was happening, she jerked back. "Uh-um--B-Blake--"

Blake looked away. I shouldn't have done that... why DID I do that...? He thought, even though he knew. "I-I'm sorry Rachael." He extended his arm slowly, and took her hand. "Are you okay? Here, I'll take you back home." He started to walk her back to her house, and occasionally he would look back at her, trying to see if she would 'comment' about what had happened.

"Er, um, it's alright, Blake..." Rachael swallowed, trying to start some kind of conversation. She was afraid things would be this awkward between them after this. That was something she really didn't want to happen. "Yeah, I'm okay.." Rachael bit her lip. "B-Blake, um, what made you.. I mean, what gave you the idea to..." She could feel her cheeks heating up in a blush, and she internally cursed herself for it. Is he mad at me now? She thought unhappily.

Blake stopped and looked at her. "Because..." He hesitated to answer. "Well..." But what difference would it make now? It would already be awkward between them for a while, so he might as well admit it. Blake put his hands atop of hers and looked into her eyes...

"I love you."

(Again: I herd u liek it fast 8D)

Rachael was too stunned to speak for a minute. Blake's words kept replaying in her mind. I love you. She swallowed, having no idea how to answer. Did she say nothing? Or admit that she felt the same? Instead, she stood there, jaw dropping, unable to find anything to say. Where Blake's hands touched hers, it felt like she was burning. Rachael swallowed again, and managed to say. "I.. have.. um, math homework.."

Blake's eyes closed. He sighed deeply. "Alright." He let go of her hands slowly. After taking her home, and walking back to his own, he didn't even think about stopping to do anything. He walked through the living room to the stairs, not noticing his little sister's toys spread all over the floor. He tripped over them, and shot a brief glare at his little sister, who was sitting down on the couch. She just giggled.

After getting up, he walked the rest of the way up the stairs and into his room. He flopped on his made bed, and laid there for about two hours... just sinking everything in. He grabbed his remote, which was on his night stand, next to him... and pressed the 'Power' button. His flat screen TV, which was built into the wall in front of his bed, flashed on.

It went to his DISH Network screen... he pressed 'Select' on the remote, as usual, and went to 'My Recordings' and turned on a LOST episode. He laid the remote back down and laid there, just watching it. He wasn't really paying attention to it though... mostly just thinking about what had happened that day.

Rachael swallowed, and the walk back felt sort of tense. Well, not really tense, they'd been friends for so long that that was hard. More awkward as each of them thought about what had just happened. She waved half-heartedly to Blake before jogging inside her house. She collapsed on the polkadotted beanbag chair in her room. Rachael realized after a second she hadn't taken a breath since she'd waved goodbye to Blake. She exhaled--but the tightness in her stomach didn't go away. Her gaze fell immediately on her phone. She was still allowed another hour before she wasn't allowed to call anymore.. She swallowed. Should she call him or not? Not even realizing she was doing it, she started punching in Blake's number.

Blake's eyes had closed, and he was starting to drift asleep... but righ before he did, he heard his phone rang. His eyes shot open. He thought it was probably a 'friend' from school... no one really important. He didn't really have much friends that actually cared for him other than Rachael. He didn't answer.

But during the las ring... as if something possessed him, his arm shot toward the phone, and he grabbed it. He opened it and put it to his ear. "Hello?"

The phone kept ringing and ringing.. Each ring, she was a little more relieved, and a little more upset. She wanted him to answer her, and at the same time, she didn't want him to. She knew it would be another second before it cut to his answering machine. What kind of message could she leave without sounding desperate?

Just as she was about to hang up and put the phone back in its cradle, she heard Blake's voice answer boredly but carefully on the other end. "Hello?" Rachael swallowed, and she started shaking slightly. What did she say? She could hang up right now and save herself and awkward conversation. She could also stay on the line, and stop pushing Blake away. "H-Hi, Blake. It's Rachael,"
