As a child, performing the perfect finisher on bosses was so satisfying-because the game would always slow down and you'd see a white light emerge from them. I always used to wait until I could use a reaction command on the boss as the finishing move so my finisher would look perfect! Especially against Storm Rider when he plummets to the ground and Sora would come off looking so badass.

 

 

I even tried to take pictures but I never could time them correctly, fortunately we have PS4 share now!

 

Did anyone used to change into drive forms just so you could see how Sora looked in that specific cutscene in that specific drive form? Damn, the little things made such a huge difference

 

I remember pausing the game at just the right moment before the finisher would defeat the boss. It was always so cool!

On topic, my PS2 controller had a button that would make the game pause all the time, as if you tapped the pause button, but by just pressing that one button (ot was called slow ), so I used to use it in certain scenes, which made them look like they were in slow motion. Fighting while using it was a pain tho

Duuude, I know what you mean!

 

I'd always feel such a satisfying tingle of victory every time I'd finish off a boss with a badass finisher!  It was definitely one of the highlights of playing Kingdom Hearts II! And when I'd transform into my Drive Forms, I'd definitely keep them on to see Sora with the different clothing in the cutscenes! I thought it was awesome that he could appear in cutscenes with different garments, ya know?

 

But yeah, it's all awesome! :')
