"What is your purpose here, Kusatte?"

"From what I know... there is a person here who dreams of something more. You may perhaps know who he is?"

Aaron was a bit unsettled by that... was he talking about him? And if so... how did he know of his need? Aaron had never met this person before in his life...

"I might... depends on why you're looking for him."

Kusatte released a roar of laughter.

"Do not try to fool me, boy, I know more then you think."

Astra groaned. "Ugh. Dude..Didn't you get the message? He wants to be alone..!" Astra witnessed Alexis ignore her words and sprint away. He rolled her eyes and ran towards her, trying to catch up. Why did she mean by 'What we've been looking for'? She ran at a steady pace and when she caught up to her friend, she said, " Look, I'm sure by the time we get there, he'll be asleep." Asta paused and smirked,"then again, he's not the type to dream with full head." she corrected herself.

(Fail.)

Alexis grinned. "Oh, don't worry about that." She waved her hand again. "It'll be easy. I just pick a lock," She dangled a hair pin before Astra. "break into my best friend's house and throw a bucket of water on him." She shrugged. "Eh, you know, the usual." She winked, and spun around.

Surprisingly, the door to Aaron's foster parents' house was open. Alexis peeked in the door--all of them except for Aaron were sitting on the sofa. "Wow," She muttered under her breath. "I didn't expect Aaron of all people to follow his bedtime.." She rolled her eyes, and snuck up the stairs. She motioned Astra to follow, and hissed. "Aaron!"

Kusatte walked not past, nor around, but through Aaron...

Aaron jumped away, spinning in mid air so he landed eye to eye with the man.

"What the hell was that?!?" he called out.

"You'll learn with time..."

With that, Kusatte faded into thin air.

Aaron clenched his fist... what just happened?

He made his way down the stairs onto the streets below, not noticing Alexis as she crawled through his bedroom window..

Should he tell Astra and Alexis about this?

Asta followed up the stairs but saw someone coming. Aaron was going down the steps. He had a very serious expression on his face. If she tried to ask what was the matter, would he brush her off just like last time? Would he finally tell them what was the matter? She had the urge to ask. He couldn't push them away anway. They were friends, weren't they?

"I-is everything okay..?" She said, extending a hand towards him.

Aaron felt another chill down his spine, not expecting to see her there,

He looked into her eyes, a very faint smile forming.

"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine. Everything's fine." he said, half lying, half not.

Although things weren't normal... they were still okay...

He couldn't tell her the straight truth until he knew exactly what was going on.

He set a firm hand on her shoulder... "Thank you though, for asking."

((Okay, last post until Lexi gets back.))

Alexis flicked Aaron's arm. "Oh hohoho!" She giggled. "Liar, liar, pants on fire!" She rolled her eyes. "I find it sad that you expect us to actually BELIEVE that. Now," She grabbed Astra's and Aaron's hands, dragging them along behind her. "You are coming to see what I found, like it or not," She grinned. "Well, I'm pretty sure you guys'll like it."

She pointed into the woods. "You go first, okay? I don't want to be there when you start screaming how amazing I am. I'll probably go deaf." Alexis motioned with her hands. "Go!"

((I forgot I had to post.))

Astra looked at Alexis with a incredulous look on her face. "Where the hell are we going?!" Astra continued to be pulled by her. Even worse was that her belts were being tugged by branches and buches so she had to hold her pants up to keep them from falling. She tugged herself loose as soon as Alexis slowed down at the forest. Astra paused and raised an eyebrow. "If we're gonna go there, can't you tell us what we are supposed to find? Or at least tell me if I'll get killed or not..." She said, nervously laughing.

Aaron, hesitantly, walked behind them. Lagging in the back with no real intent to catch up anytime soon.

The question of whether he should tell them still haunted his mind, and for now, his answer was no.

One hand in his pocket, his other stroked the diamond in his necklace pendant.

His mind looked back to Kusatte, what was that weapon he wielded? It was unlike anything he had ever seen... but somehow, it seemed so familiar. As if it was a part of his past. As if it was connected to his destiny...

...

...wishful nonsense.

A weapon like that, a weapon of such undeniable grace, could never choose a person like himself as it's chosen wielder.

Alexis grinned. "Oh, I'm not going to tell you! You've got to see for yourself!" She glanced back. Aaron was staring at the ground, walking slowly, a ways back. She sighed, and waved her arms. "Aaron! Hey! Get over here!" She stuck her tongue out. "I'll drag you if I've gotta. I promise! You'll love it!" She clapped, and then shoved Astra into the woods. "TRUST ME. You'll know when you find it." Alexis's smile grew. "And you'll love me forever for finding it!"

((fail post is fail ._.))

(( AAA is better than TAV and SRK xD))

"FINE! OKAY!" Astra said impatiently. She pushed Alexis' forehead with her finger playfully as she walked into the forest. She kept a steady pace but she turned her head when she saw Aaron behind.

"Okay, seriously, what is up with you?" She asked, still walking. "Tell me. You haven't been this quiet since we first met you...Maybe I won't be able to help but-"

She noticed something in the distance. Swirling black and purple, almost disguised in the dark.

A portal.

(Slow dowwwnn... Not Yet D8)

Aaron didn't reply, he just kept walking. Ignoring what she said, and disregarding his surroundings, he pushed on.

He didn't feel like himself right now, he felt different, like there was something else within him. Something, corrupting him...

"What's happening?" he asked himself once he was a good distance from Alexis and Astra.

"What's happening, indeed." replied a familiar voice. Aaron looked all around him... Kusatte was nowhere to be seen. So where'd he hear that?

"Kusatte!? Where are you?"

"Wherever you least expect..." said the man, the voice fading away as his words dragged on.

Aaron gasped in surprise, as he was pushed by an invisible force to walk through the brush, his feet walking foward almost involuntarily.

Alexis squinted. She could faintly hear Aaron talking far ahead of her and Astra. "Hey.." She murmered. "Is Aaron talking to himself or his imaginary friend, Cheese?" She glanced at Astra. "Something has been really wrong with him lately.." She said quietly. She didn't often say or do anything that was below a shout. Alexis frowned, and Aaron started walking forward again. His usually blank expression was replaced with something she couldn't quite make out. She glanced at Astra. "We better catch up with him. Something's really wrong here.."

((No green text Lexi. I couldn't see crap of that post.))

Astra was taken aback but she nodded.

What was wrong with him and why wouldn't he tell them anything? She felt so distant an helpless...

"Alexis...just...don't take 'nothing' or 'everything is okay' for an answer." Astra laughed. On the inside, however, she felt hurt that Aaron was keeping secrets from them. They were friends...

"Kusatte..?"

Who was that...?

Aaron emerged from the forest to find himself standing before a glorious mansion.

His legs became his own again, and a great weight seemed to lift off of his shoulders as his heart was put at ease.

'What is this place?' he thought to himself as stepped towards the spike gates in the front.

His right hand grasped the cold metal of the bars, and he looked up to see a giant keyhole.

"I can't get in..." Aaron said with a sigh.

"Don't give up yet, Aaron. You have the keyblade on your side..."

After those words were spoken, a blinding light formed within Aaron's hand, and a hazy shape started to form, a shape of a skeleton key. It began to gain some distinguishable features, and it finally formed the completed form of the weapon he had seen earlier.

His arm again became involuntarily active as the blade raised itself to aim at the giant keyhole. A beam of light shot out, and Aaron could hear a faint *click* as the door unlocked.

Alexis started running after him. Panting, she managed to yell. "Hey, Aaron! Wait UP! I can't run that fast, dang it!" She skittered to a halt. She was only a few yards away, but she was squinting at Aaron. He was gripping a giant key, and was raising it above his head, pointing it at two ten foot gates before him. To her amazement, they swung open. Eventually, Alexis found she could move again. She'd felt frozen in place watching. "Aaron! What just happened!?"

Astra's eyes widened.

"No way..."

She ran up towards Aaron and had an amazed and shocked expression. She tried to speak but no words came out. Astra closed her eyes and put her hands to her head to take in the moment... She sighed and took a deep breath.

"What just-! No. I already know what happened...How did it happen and where did that giant key come from..? No more secrets, Aaron." she finished sternly.

The keyblade faded away into the air, the power surging back within Aarons body. His fist temporarily illuminated while the power coursed through his veins.

Again, without control of his own body, he turned to face his comrades, his eyes looking to them with a glare... he blinked, and when the lid of his eye receded, the color of his iris was a glowing yellow. A fire seeming to blaze inside of him, turning him into something he wasn't.

Possessed by the darkness - the very darkness Kusatte had hidden inside him -.

With a subtle chuckle, Aaron turned back to the Mansion, pushed through the gates, and went inside...

Alexis sighed. "Aw, great here we go again." She rolled her eyes, and she stomped after Aaron. "AARON! GET BACK HERE!" It wasn't so much of a request as an order. "I MEAN IT, AARON!" Her eyes widened suddenly. "Did you steal that from my old toy box or something? Hey! Aaron!" She groaned, and finally caught up. "I swear, if you broke into my house to steal an over-sized key-sword thingy from my old toy box, you're in for it."

Astra felt so much pain inside. When she saw Aaron walk away, she lost it.

"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS AARON?!" She yelled. "Tell me..."

She couldn't help it anymore. Tears glazed her eyes. She fell to her knees and covered her face. Astra didn't want anyone to see her in a point of total weakness. "TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU!" She screamed.

...Had they really grown apart this quickly..?

Ignoring his friends desperate plea's for help, the possessed Aaron stormed into the mansion. Pale rays of sunlight shone throughout the building, casting a charming glow upon the place.

Aaron couldn't bear to turn away from his friends that way, but at the moment, the choice was not his own.

One foot in front of the other, he turned to the stairway, climbing his way up to the second floor and into an antechamber.

He now stood inside of a white room, with blank walls, and a long table with two chairs in the center. The curtains blew with the wind, flapping gently, as if a ghost brushed past them.

It was peaceful here... and for a brief moment, his mind turned the other cheek from the presence within him, and Aaron gazed upon the room with his own eyes. It was plain. Very plain. No detail was added that had no purpose, and therefore it was bland.

Aaron sat down in one of the chairs, his fingers grasping the arms rests until his knuckles were white.

Alexis groaned loudly. She sent telepathic 'WTH AARON!?' messages to him, though she had a feeling he'd never know. Well, at least he wouldn't until she got a hold of him.

"U-Um, Astra--" She bit her lip, not really sure how to comfort her best friend. "It's-it's okay. I'm sure Aaron's got some kind of.. surprise?" She swallowed, and tried to smile to cheer Astra up. "Don't worry--Aaron's always.. distant. This is nothing new. You shouldn't be so upset." Alexis glanced back up at the mansion. "C'mon," She helped Astra up. "Let's go find him, then."

Astra let her hair cover her eyes...

Trembling she whispered, "No...Those eyes...they weren't his..." She tensed up and remembered how happy Aaron was when he was with her and Alexis. All the smiles and laughs they shared together flashed in her mind. She couldn't let it be like this.

"C'mon." Astra said through gritted teeth. She got up and stomped towards Aaron's direction, nearly dragging Alexis with her.

"H-Hey! Slow up! We'll get there eventually anyway!" Alexis protested, struggling to keep up with Astra's furious pace. She frowned seeing the almost desperate expression on her best friend's face.

"Maybe you shouldn't go in there, Astra." Alexis tried to keep her voice sound suggestive, rather than like she was warning her. "I mean, maybe it's... Um... Haunted? Sure seems scary to me" She pretended to shudder at the thought.

((Watch your posts Lexi... it wasn't your turn to go again. >.<))

The White Room was so clean, so flawless, that Aaron could see his own reflection in the tile floor.

His eyes... By god, his eyes... in a dawn of sad realization, Aaron jumped to his feet.

"I am not who I appear to be..." he said to himself, leaning against the wall.

With those solemn words, Aaron left the room, his magma colored eyes adjusting to the sudden change in color and lighting as he shut the door to the White Room.

He slowly walked towards the other side of the staircase so he could enter the room on the other side.

Why did Kusatte bring him here?

It was anyones guess... but Aaron sought answers.

As he entered the second room, he found himself surrounded by books... packing the shelves, resting on the table... some open, most of them closed.

"A library... if I'm going to find answers. This is as good a place as any." he said out loud, mostly to himself.

Naturally, he wasn't expecting to have a reply...

"That's correct Aaron... this is the place where you'll find your answers. And that is why I can't allow you to be here..." said a strangely familiar voice.

Swinging around, Aaron stood face to face with the misty form of Kusatte.

"What are you doing, Kusatte?" Aaron said in a tone filled with hate and rage...

"I don't know who you are, where you come from, or what you plan to do... but all I know is that my life has been a living hell since you came in!"

Kusatte let out a roar of laughter... "Be patient Aaron, you will find the answers you seek."

Clenching his fist tightly, it was all Aaron could do not to swipe at Kusatte.

"I want my answers now..."

"Very well..."
