I just wanted to start a little discussion, X-Men movies are pretty much dead now and days (at least in my opinion) and don't seem to have a drive to do better, I mean they have some of the stuff and "Logan" looks good actually, but once Hugh Jackman leaves X-Men, I don't look for the series to last long. The whole mutants vs humanity thing is wearing down, I'm not too fond of how they make it seem. I personally would like to see what Marvel's MCU magic could do to it, but I feel they have their own plans...

 

So what do you think? Do you think it can be fixed? If so how?

I've never really liked X-Men, but Logan looks pretty great.

If there's any good direction for the franchise to go, it's Logan. Let's just hope it's actually good.

As for beyond that, we'll see.

I have to agree with you . The X-Men series will never be the same without Hugh even if they reboot the whole thing .

Maybe the series would be better if Fox cared about their continuity, instead of going "whatever" and doing random stuff.

Well, I'm a huge Marvel fan, and yet I've never been a big fan of the X-Men! The films that I like most in this franchise are the Wolverine films and Deadpool! While the other films are good, I'm not really too big on em! (With the exception of Apocalypse, which I haven't seen!)

 

I think it would be wonderful if Fox and Marvel reached the same kind of accord as with Sony! Now Spidey's in the MCU, so if Fox and Marvel strike a good deal, the X-Men could be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm sure the X-Men would thrive in the MCU if Marvel got the film rights to the X-Men back! But this is something that'll be out of reach, for the moment!
