The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted December 13, 2016 Look at that comment section, if you see his other ones too people are saying he's lazy and whatnot. He barely puts out any reviews. As a note he did call the music lazy, whilst I don't agree I'm not going to activate fanboy mode and attack him, but this 'impressions' video was half assed anyway. He used to put out some quality videos and the reviews on awful games like Sonic Riders and Ride To Hell were hilarious. What do you guys think about Angry Joe? Has his content lost it's quality? Geralt 4,874 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) He's done a lot more streams this year it would seem, where you can see him play a lot more games and give his impressions as he goes along. So, not really lazy or slacking off or anything. Angry Joe just does whatever the hell he wants to do. It's his channel, his videos, his own time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Frankly I find that his comments sections for quite a while now though have been cancerous as hell though. RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) I feel like he's doing all of this on purpose. And my driving experience irl is kicking in, when he's controlling the Regalia. I could go into detail, but I'm trying to hold it all in. But you know what, it's his channel, his content, his way of doing whatever he wants to his videos. There is nothing I can do about it. To me it's just pointless to just comment against his criticism and how he's playing the game. And don't really know much about this Angry Joe guy. Same goes to the "other guy" and his cringe-worthy videos. He can do whatever he wants to his content. Just like he has a right to do whatever he wants to his content, his subs has a right to criticize of what's he's doing and saying. I can only just watch and say nothing. Guest Posted December 13, 2016 Final Fantasy XV is undoubtedly divisive, however, the music is unanimously agreed to be one of the better aspects of the game!
Geralt 4,874 Posted December 13, 2016 Final Fantasy XV is undoubtedly divisive, however, the music is unanimously agreed to be one of the better aspects of the game! The music is really good, though some of it is meh. Can't say i'm a huge fan of the OST, but it sure as heck beats out the soundtracks of quite a number of other games. And yeah, it is a super weird JRPG which in North America and other parts of the world can be a pretty niche market. Some may entirely like it, some may only like certain aspects of it and dislike others, while other people just entirely hate it. Just compared to the other RPGs out there, FFXV has it's own strange completely different thing going for it. Honestly, i'm surprised at how much I like the game. Certainly liking it more-so than I thought I would.

I feel as though this Final Fantasy is intentionally targeted towards the western demographic hence the open world, emphasis on graphical prowess, variety in side-quests and grandiose locales. Emrys 3,192 Posted December 13, 2016 I think I lost any interest in joe after the Ninendo incident where he got childishly got mad at them for claiming his profits on his video EVEN THOUGH he was informed 6 months beforehand that thats what would happen if he uploaded any Ninendo content. Attacking anyone who had a different opinion them him cuz God forbid anyone else can voice their mind. Add the low budget skits he does and I find him unwatchable. Thou thats just me. Im sure others out there love him and thats cool. 1 The 13th Kenpachi reacted to this

Lukewarm in Japan? Wow, I honestly wouldn't of guessed. Rather surprising. I wouldn't be surprised if FFXV was intentionally targeted towards a western audience though. As you said, so much of it just really seems like it is.
Gamerazor247 877 Posted December 13, 2016 Angry Joes comments have been unfair for the last two years now. But booooyyyyy, did I expect someone posting a topic about his thoughts on here, rofl... 1 The 13th Kenpachi reacted to this
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted December 13, 2016 Eh, Joe is what he is, and he does what he does, who am I to tell him to do differently, it's not like I actively follow the guy anyway. I mean, what did people think the "Angry" in his name actually meant, "completely satisfied with everything"? I'm not going to always agree with a lot of his opinions (heck, I tend to disagree with a lot of Nostalgia Critic's opinions half the time, and I actually like watching him), but they're his and he's entitled to express them however he wants and to make his videos however he wants. Does that mean that I think he should actually use some of the one-sided rhetoric he sometimes uses ("If you actually like this game, you're wrong/stupid/etc.")? No, I frankly don't think anyone should convey their opinions that way, it's very one-sided and kind of acts as a fallacy towards whatever argument they're making. But regardless he's being himself 100% of the time in all his videos, and I think really that's all anyone can ever reasonably ask of anybody. Now I don't regularly keep up with the guy so I don't know how his videos have been lately (frankly I try to stay away from anyone else's impressions of a game I am currently playing because A, I don't want to take the chance that they'll ruin the experience for me and B, I usually just don't care), so if he's been lacking his certain "Joeness" as of late, I wouldn't know. But regardless of that, everyone's going to have reviews they hate, reviews they like, or ones that they're just indifferent about. I can't say that Joe is starting to follow a trend or not, but from a casual outsider's perspective, entirely free of the influence of the Fanboy Force , I can say that many creators occasionally find themselves falling into a bit of a slump if they aren't being given enough worthy material lately, so if he is, I'm sure things will pick up eventually once he's given the right material to be himself with. At least, that's my opinion. 1 Geralt reacted to this
