Non-spoiler disappointment...

Recommended Posts

So back in the day, while playing as sora in ddd, there was one little anoying thing that hasn't been fixed for the HD version. When you went into the world selection, pranksters paradise had a higher level requirement than the grid, yet pranksters paradise comes before story-wise than the grid. Disappointed, square, very disappointed (although the collection in itself is awesome imho lol)

Actually, according to my BRADYGAMES guide book that I got for the 3DS version when the game originally came out, you are supposed to visit The Grid before Prankster's Paradise, and quite frankly that is the order I have always gone with when playing the game.

Yeah, but the Xemnas cutscenes don't make sense if you do it that way. Even the in-game reports have prankster's paradise before the grid.

You do know you don't have to go to Prankster's Paradise first right?

Yes obviously. But it's just something annoying. They could have easily fixed it for the HD version. From a newbie to the series' point of view, it would be confusing story-wise (although why would you even start with ddd from the first place...), and thus be a dislikeable element from such an awesome series.

Really, it was weird in the 3DS version how if you went to The Grind first (and battle level wise you would do that) when Sora meets Xemnas he isn't surprised, but then you go to Pranksters Paradise and when he meets Xemnas there he's surprised along the lines of "Xemnas how are you here?" So it is confusing like that
