Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover and Dream Drop Distance:
After watching Back Cover, there are two lines that have stood out to me. The first one was said by the Master of Masters to Luxu at the end of the movie. He said, "Anyway, about your role. You need to pass down that Keyblade to your apprentice, and then him to his, so that my eye can see the future." This line makes me believe that the events that the Master of Masters saw with his "Gazing Eye" went far beyond the first Keyblade War. Also, since Xehanort quotes the final passage of the Book of Prophecies in some of the Kingdom Hearts III trailers, I am led to believe that the final passage is talking about the second Keyblade War that will be fought in Kingdom Hearts III. However, the way that the Foretellers talk about what is written in the Book of Prophecies seems to imply that there is no record of more than one Keyblade War taking place because they all seem to believe that the first Keyblade War is what the final passage is talking about. Does that mean that the Master of Masters has not recorded everything that he saw with his "Gazing Eye" in the Book of Prophecies?
The second line that stood out to me was what Gula told Ava about the Lost Page. He said, "It contains a passage about an inevitable betrayal. It talks about 'the one who bears the sigil.'" Since Back Cover never revealed who the traitor was, I think that it is safe to say that the inevitable betrayal will happen in Kingdom Hearts III. The sigil that the Lost Page mentions I believe to be the Recusant's Sigil, which was talked about in Dream Drop Distance. Therefore, I believe that the traitor will be one of the characters who has the Recusant's Sigil, either in their name or on their person somewhere. Because the Foretellers believed that one of them was the traitor, and since Gula confessed that everything written on the Lost Page was vague at best, I think that this further backs up my earlier speculation that the Master of Masters may have left some events out of the Book of Prophecies or that, at the very least, he was intentionally vague to lead the Foretellers astray.
