I have a question....why is it that when Aqua encountered Ven/Van, the X-Blade was complete, yet when Ven was trying to destroy it, and shown sucessful at the end of Aqua's battle with Ven/Van, it was not complete? Also, did those two battles occur around the same general time frame?

ok...im talking about how when ven fought vanitas the x-blade was shattered, dull, and incomplete, while when aqua fought ven/van, it was complete, and shiny owo

Those battles did in fact happen simultaneously.

 

 

The X-Blade wasn't complete when Ven was fighting Vanitas, because Ven had yet to become complete one with Vanitas again, to create the complete X-Blade. The fusion was hindered somehow, so the X-Blade did end up incomplete in the inner battle, while during the outer battle with Aqua, the X-Blade was complete, due to the fact that Ven and Vanitas technically fused.

ah i see, gracias (and no im not mexican, i just am taking a spanish class, but heck, lots of people must already know what that means any ways so i guess its not a really big deal)

 

also, just for my own knowledge, the fight between terranort and the lingering sentiment took place at the same time as well right? cuz that beam of light that xehanort saw was what happened when vanitas fused with ven

Yeah I was a little confused. I thought that first Ven destryoed the x blade and vanitas. But for reason they survived, and on the outside, aqua had to fight him and finish what Ven started! Thanks for clearing it up!
