I was trying to make it look sinister but I failed.

I like it, and I think it does look sinister, but...I dunno there's just something about the red that really sort of annoys me. It might just be my crappy computer screen, but it's too bright and sort of detracts from the image. Toning it down just a bit (if that's still possible *I'm a n00b*) or maybe just making the right side of the background red would make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing, but that's just me. owo;;

I didn't want it all to be red so I made one side black <8D

The red all over doesn't exactly give it a sinister purpose. Maybe if he wasn't all red, it would help.

However, that shadow that's slightly casting over him helps a little with accomplishing that sinister-y-ness.

Red makes me think of blood, but the whole blood/sinister look dosent seem to be working here. Most likely because the picture is only of two colors, red and black, makes it look like it lacks in something. There are many ways to make the picture more sinister, as Tricia said that the shadow was making him look more sinister
