Posted

It's the 13th of May, and that means the Silent Hero, Lexaeus, is here for the latest XIII Event! This event will be available from May 13th at 12 AM (PT) to May 19th at 11:59 PM (PT)! By completing the thirteen event quests, players can obtain the new Lexaeus B medal as well as the Lexaeus hairstyle! Lexaeus B's stats are as follows:

Lexaeus B

Power/Reversed

Guilt Tier 3

Single Target

Gauge Cost 5

Deals 11 hits. Inflicts more damage the higher the slot number.

Are you excited to earn the Lexaeus B medal? Will you be wearing the Lexaeus hairstyle? Let us know in the comments!

This was an aight event. I like the idea of it; brute force crushing enemies, nothing more nothing less. Some of the levels got nerfed from JP, for anybody who was wondering, but ultimately I don't think it matters much either way; the last two levels are basically just RNG rolls, since you won't have enough natural defense to survive, so it's all on Defense Boosts.

I cheesed the last level with a party member's Pluto B w/extra attack. It could have been done otherwise (with just Pluto B and some well-timed Def Boost proccing) but this saved me hours of RNG frustrations, so if you can, just do that =P.

That said, Lexaeus B is exactly what I wanted; pure strength reverse power medal. Fits brilliantly on Treasure Trove and Stroke of Midnight. Plus, I got STR+1000 on my final trait roll, so I'm excited to use him.

You have any tips to defeat Dual Durandal?

Pray to the RNG gods. That one was sheer luck; I could generally withstand it's attacks, but if the paralysis prevented me from using my heavy hitter, I wouldn't make it.

When you get stuck on those last 2 quest, and you're banking on Second Chance and Defense Boost II... Lol

I'm using Lionheart since my KDG is the strongest medal to dish out damage.
