"Paranoid? I'm far from that, Mr. Velazquez." Allan lifted his hands and started laughing, it was a silent laugh at first, but then he just started cracking up.

He actually couldn't control his laughs for a second there.

"Oh goodness! Sorry! But you just gave yourself away!!" He began laughing again, in the mists of Richard's confusion.

"I'm sorry." he calmed down, wiping his eyes.

"I just got that entire confession over the intercom!" Just kidding, he started laughing again.

"What." Richard's face went deadpan.

-Literally only seconds earlier-

"I admit, you two are truly brilliant. Even the human!"

Allan peeked his head up from the desk. An intercom? A rather nasty idea crept into Allan's mind. He reached his hand up...and pressed the intercom button. It did not create any feedback on the inside of the office...but outside it did...and got the attention of every single creature in the entire prison.

"You bounded those souls. You killed those prisoners!"

"Technically, the ghosts killed them-!"

"The ghosts that you bound and forced under your command!"

"Oh, and what is so wrong with it?"

"You know who they are, right? Criminals. They have done nothing but destroy the balance and peace that is required within society. They are nothing. Do you really think that their deaths would be missed? That they would cause any difference in this world?"

"That is not your authority to decide!"

"Oh save me the speech, would you? I admit I did wrong in killing those children. I was young, naive, wild, but then as I grew, I realized that there was no use in eating the souls of those who would be missed. When I decided to become a police officer, I didn't realize it. But once I became the director, the idea came to me. A revelation! I could clean the world from the filth that taints it, one at a time!"

"These people, these souls, are finally being put to good use, their bodies used to feed those good people who could actually do good to the world! Can you really blame me for doing something so noble?"

"This isn't noble! Your job is to keep these prisoners safe from themselves, not bring judgment upon them! That is not your role!" "

"The judgment given is sometimes not enough! I make sure that these prisoners learn the lessons that they have to learn. To obey the rules of society, or else suffer at the hands of ultimate judgment, to which not even the gods may save them!"

"What you have done, the deaths you have created are against many laws and rules that govern this prison and the rest of the system. We won't let you get away with this! You will be tried for your crimes, Richard!"

"Oh? And who will believe you? I am the Director of this prison, have been for the past 5 years, with a flawless record. I am admired by both my prisoners and my staff. Do you really think they're going to believe you? Two detectives playing hero? Two detectives, how had become friends with a recently deceased prisoner? A paranoid human?"

-Back to now-

"You have dug yourself a hole, Richard." Allan came out from behind the desk, walking beside Michael and smiling.

The door to Richard's office flew open, and guards and prisoners alike came rushing into the room.

"So whatcha gonna do?" Allan winked.

Richard's jaw dropped, glaring at Allan. Michael smiled at Allan, his eyes gleaming. Holy crap, that was brilliant! For once, prisoners and police did not fight, instead watched the event unfold. The prisoners watched from the hallway, the guards were quick to enter the room, weapons in hand as they all pointed at Richard, slowly surrounding him. "Director...put your hands over your head, and kneel on the floor." One of the guards ordered. Richard looked around, his expression paling. Everything he had worked for had fallen apart, all because of a single, stupid human. "What do you think you're doing? Lower your weapons!" Richard demanded. No one moved. Richard gritted his teeth, glaring at the two detectives. "I did this, for the sake of our world! To clean the filth, to get rid of the dangerous prisoners that could harm you and your families! How dare you betray me?! After all I have done for you?!" Richard screamed, gripping his hands. He breathed heavily, chuckling maniacally before slowly looking up. "I see...very well. So you want the filth to spread. To receive second chances?" Richard snapped his head up, eyes glowing red. "THEN YOU'RE ALL FILTH TO ME! YOU WILL ALL BE DEVOURED!" Richard screamed, a glowing aura surrounding him as he began to let his magic loose. "Get down!" "Get him!" The officers all jumped on top of Richard, hurrying to contain him. Richard roared, throwing the detectives off him as magic spread across the room, shattering the windows. Michael quickly hurried to Allan, kicking the desk over as the surface faced the fight. Michael pulled Allan down with him behind it, using the desk much like a shield as it protected them from the momentary magic. Richard floated, his eyes glowing as he created chains out of phantasm magic, whipping them wildly as he threw officers around like dolls. Michael let go of Allan, jumping over the desk as he blocked one of the chains with his cane. "YOUR SOUL WILL BE MOST APPETIZING, VAMPIRE!" "Sorry, you're not my type." Michael deflected the chains, quickly turning his cane into a whip as he began to deflect the attacks with it, sharp precision as the other officers tried to help.

"This guy is crazy," Allan grumbled as he duck behind the desk with Michael.

Michael jumped over the desk first, beginning to deflect Richard's chains. Allan check his bullets, he had ten shots. Solum Prison should probably hire a new director anyways...but maybe there was a way just to immobilize Richard instead of...well instead of killing him. Allan clicked his bullets back in place, peeking up from behind the desk. Oh, this was going to be fun. He cocked his gun and started aiming for the first shot. Bang. CLINK. Allan's bullet was deflected.

"Damnit." Allan cursed.

He shot twice again, both deflected. This was just not fair. Allan stood up from behind the desk, staying out of Richard's sight the best he possibly could. If Richard saw Allan, there was no doubt that he would go straight for him. Allan was not going to be wasting silver bullets. He carefully stepped out from behind the safety of the desk and fired about three shots towards Richard's legs. Allan did not know where they went until he heard a howl from Richard. Got him!! Allan had shot Richard's leg, and got him down.

The chains retreated back towards Richard.

"YOU FILTHY SWINE!!" Richard screamed at Allan, who took stand beside Michael.

"Should we take him into custody...or should we get rid of him?" It was a reasonable question.

Richard had commit plenty of crimes...and if it was up to Allan, he would just get of him. However, Allan was not the main voice in this mission, Michael was the older one and would determine what would happen to Richard.

Michael looked at Allan, then back at Richard. They had received permission to use deadly force if necessary before leaving for here. But should they? It would be...an ironic end. Michael shook his head. "We must attempt to control him. If push comes to shove, not left with a choice, then we'll kill him." Michael insisted. Richard began to laugh, looking at Allan. "Oh the human thinks he can kill me? Oh how the tables have turned! And here you think yourself to be the judge and jury now?!" Richard yelled, his chains whipping wildly around him as his leg bled. He was still mortal. He could still die. That much was certain, even for a Soul Eater. "Well...I guess this is it then. Then I have one last request...my last meal." Richard's eyes turned as black as the night, no other color or light inside of them, staring right at Allan. Richard used the chains to whip everyone to the side before dashing straight at Allan, laughing as he reached his hands out to him. "YOU'LL JOIN ME IN THE AFTERLIFE, DETECTIVE!" Michael's eyes widened, quickly rolling onto his feet. "Allan!" He dashed towards him, swinging his whip as he had it wrap around Richard. He pulled on it, tightly getting a hold of the soul eater right before he reached Allan, a mere feet away from killing him. Richard pulled back on the whip as Richard struggled, grunting as he tried to inch closer to Allan, but Michael's whip would not budge. "Contain him!" Michael yelled, looking back at the officers. One of them, a human mage, was quickly gathering people around. "I'm working on it!" She said, holding her hands together as she formed a magic trap in her hands, forming it up for Richard. Meanwhile, Richard simply chuckled, by this point tears falling down his cheeks as he looked right at Allan. "Well?" Richard asked, leaning his head closer to him. "Go ahead. You want me dead, don't you? Go ahead. Do it. Embrace the role. Feel what I once felt. Be the Judge. Be the court. Be the executioner." Richard offered, smirking all the way. "DO IT!" Allan now had a choice.

"Then I have one last request...my last meal."

Allan's blood ran cold as Richard turned to face him with pitch black eyes. Allan began to scramble backward, Richard's chains coming dangerously close to touching him before Michael lassoed his whip around his body, forcing Richard away. The mage and Michael had Richard contained.

"Go ahead. You want me dead, don't you? Go ahead. Do it. Embrace the role. Feel what I once felt. Be the Judge. Be the court. Be the executioner."

"DO IT!"

Allan still had bullets left in his gun, but he hesitated.

"I do not want you dead, Mr. Velazquez. However, based on your actions...which includes the murders of children, teenagers, and prisoners alike, and the bonding of ghost to you, on top of your attempt at harming M&M employees, should I allow you the privilege of being behind bars...or should I finish you off?" Allan walked up to Richard, his gun in front of him.

"I've been behind a prison wall for YEARS you brat!!" Richard hissed at Allan.

"Well, I guess that answers my question. Under the honorable name of M&M, I see the circumstances are necessary to use deadly force." Allan stated this line, moving the trigger to Richard's head, closed his eyes, and fired three silver bullets into the man's skull.

Richard let out a rasp, the resistance on Michael's whip fading, and Richard's body sinking to the ground. Some people cheered, others stay silent, Allan simply put his gun back in his holster, we walked over to Michael and just grabbed his sleeve. He had just killed a man. For the first time.

"That probably wasn't the right thing to do, I know." that was all Allan could really say.

Hopefully this wouldn't be thrown back at him when he went back to M&M.

As Allan put an end to Richard's life with three bullets, everyone went eerily silent. Michael watched with wide eyes, gently pulling on his caned whip as it reverted back to it's cane shape, releasing the body. Some people cheered, bidding good riddance, while others stared in shock, not knowing what to do or say. Whispers and murmurs began to rumble about. Regardless, Richard was dead. Michael was quick to pull Allan closer as he glanced around the room of monsters. "Deadly force was necessary. If we had waited any longer he would have broken free, and killed an officer and who knows how many more." Michael explained, looking around the room. The guards looked at each other, some nodding slightly. "The culprit was right among you. As the one you least expected." Michael turned to the officers. "Get everyone back to their cells. We'll call our superiors and request backup to finish this up." Michael asked, quickly taking out his cellphone. The officers began to get everyone back to their cells, returning to their posts as Michael called the Warden. "We found the culprit, but deadly force was needed. Requesting backup for post-encounter investigation." Michael explained, the Warden humming on the other end. "I will send a group by helicopter. Await their arrival for further orders." With that, the Warden hung up. Michael got his cellphone away, leading Allan out to the hallway as he closed the door to the office. "Guard this place. It is an active crime scene until cleared by the investigators. We will be at our guest room." Michael informed, before quickly hurrying Allan and himself back to the room they were given while here. It was standard procedure. They needed to isolate themselves, wait for the other investigators to arrive and make their own investigation before clearing them. Standard procedure to avoid any further trouble down the line. He closed the door behind them, sighing. "They'll be here soon. We'll have to remain here until they clear us. It's standard. It shouldn't take too long." Michael assured, looking down at Allan. "...are you ok?"

Allan let Michael talk as he stood there, looking down at Richard's body. The man's open eyes still staring back at Allan eerily. Michael pulled Allan along, and out of the way back to the guest room they were assigned. Allan caught a glimpse of himself in one of the broken mirrors that were in Richard's office before they left, and no wonder Allan could tell why Michael was worried. His face was pale and his heart was racing.

"I-I just need to sit down." Allan stuttered, reaching back and sitting down on the bed.

He pulled his bangs out of his face and took a couple of deep breaths.

"I know that he was a criminal and that my life was at stake, and that he really deserved it...and I also know this was going to happen someday but..." Allan looked down, sighing, his elbows on his knees and head in his hands.

He just felt...sick.

"I'm physically okay thanks to you, Michael...but other than that...I kind of feel like a piece of shit." Allan admit, pulling his head up.

"The Warden wasn't mad...was she?" Allan asked, clearly worried.

Getting in trouble with M&M was the only thing he was really worried about. He only grew more worried when he heard a helicopter in the distance...it growing louder as it got to Solum Prison. M&M was here to begin their investigation, while Allan and Michael wait to be cleared so they could travel back.

Michael followed Allan, sitting next to him while giving him enough space for him to calm down. He frowned, looking down. "You did what was right. I am sure that if you hadn't done that, then he would've gotten free." Michael said, eyes narrowing slightly. "It's never easy, Allan." He began. "It's...one of the worst feelings out there. To take the life of someone is something no one has the right to do, regardless of who they are. Yet, at times like in this case, it had to happen, or risk losing innocent lives in the process. That is why you are a detective, a policeman of the forces of M&M. You are seeking justice, and taking the risks and actions that no one else will do for the sake of everyone else. It's...it's the burden every one of us bear." Michael said. He chuckled. "The Warden isn't mad. This happens a lot. Suspects are too dangerous and are killed in action. It's just protocol." He assured as he gently rubbed his back. "It'll go away. You may never forget...but I promise you. You're doing the right thing. It's your duty to do so, and everyone knows it. And if anyone gives you crap about it, I'll kick their butt. You're my partner, after all." Michael assured. He knew the pain. The confusion. The sickness. To take a life for the first time. To some, they gain a rush of adrenaline. To others, and most, they gain the painful reality of what they had done. He would get used to it, he assured it. He just...needed time.

~*SOLUM PRISON ARC: END*~

- A Few Weeks Later -

Rumors of the mission at Solum Prison spread like wildfire. Of course, it wasn't like if it was a secret. Once it was all cleared, local monster-specific news outlets reported on the news of the Solum Prison director being responsible for the deaths and disappearances in the prison, and that he was killed by officers in action. Whispers of how a human was able to take down the Soul Eater brought both intrigue and numerous of mixed emotions. Yet, in the very end, he had done his job, and despite anyone's personal opinion, it was justified. Allan was referred to see Ryder from time to time for psychological evaluation and overall just to make sure that he was alright to continue with his job. After a few weeks from the incident, everything slowly blended back into normal, taking on simple cases, some less stressful than others as everyone fell into routine. As the sun set down on the city, through the main doors of M&M, a handsome young man in a suit walked right in, holding an umbrella over himself, and wearing shades. He removed his shades and closed his umbrella, using it as a cane of sorts as he got his shades away. His appearance and aura alone had some of the young people of the station already swooning. Yet, his attention was quickly attracted to someone in specific. His eyes narrowed as he saw a human exchanging paperwork in the main desk. He was definitely human; he smelled like one. But something else also caught his attention. A familiar scent. Michael. The young man chuckled, smirking as his sharpened fangs showed. "My my..." He whispered, walking straight towards Allan, his red eyes gleaming in interest. "Let's see you save this one, Michael."

"Here you go Warden." Allan handed over to papers, reports of today's mission involving vandalism.

The Warden had been giving Allan and Michael smaller cases due to their experience at Solum Prison, and to be honest, there were not too many interesting things going on.

"Thank you Allan. Are things going a little bit better for you?" Warden asked, taking the papers from Allan.

"Yes ma'am. Ryder, Tabitha, Draven, and Michael have been a tremendous help and I think I am alright now." Allan assured the Warden.

"I'm glad things are looking up for you." The Warden smiled gently to Allan.

The thing was about the Warden is that she looked like a scary person, and was a scary person, but if you were nice to her, she would be nice to you. Maybe.

"Ma'am, I was looking for Director Evington?" The vampire leaned on the counter slyly, looking straight at the Warden, and then turning his eyes slowly to Allan.

"Another vampire or some demon." Allan let that cross his mind.

"Ah, you must be Mr. Bachmann. Director Evington is on the twelfth floor, the last door on your right. Allan, maybe you could take Mr. Bachmann there?"

"Oh please, it's Aldrich." the man corrected.

"Yes ma'am." Allan motioned Aldrich to the elevator, and Aldrich followed...a little too close to comfort.

The two entered the elevator, and it closed. It was not as crowded as it usually was due to the time.

"You're name was Allan?" Aldrich began to try to make conversation.

"Allan Othello. Yes sir." Allan responded dully.

"A tough little human you have this time...old friend."

"It is nice to meet you, Allan." Aldrich reached for Allan's hand to greet him, but Allan pulled away as quickly as he could, just as the elevators opened.

"Don't touch me. I know what you're trying to do." Allan looked at Aldrich, not very amused by the move he just pulled.

"Ah, but do you. Thank you for showing me the way, little boy~" Aldrich backed out of the elevator upon Allan's rude response, and as the elevator doors closed again, both of them grumbled to themselves.

"Why do people who I don't like try to flirt with me when the person who I do like hardly ever flirts with me?" Allan sighed, and headed for the dining commons were Tabitha, Draven and Michael were waiting on him.

Allan picked up a meal from Kirius, slipping over to sit by Michael and join the group.

"Some weird guy just tried to flirt with me." Allan grumbled as he opened his drink, resting his elbow on the table and beginning to eat.

Draven perked his head up at Allan's complain. "Well, you're the only human in this department. I wouldn't be surprised that you turn a lot of heads." Draven said as he drank his milk. Tabitha wiped her mouth clean with a napkin. "Believe it or not, humans within monster-related business are highly attractive to monsters. It's not common for humans to know about us, so you peek interest." Tabitha said with a smile. Michael slurped some blood from a bag with a straw. "Who was the guy anyways? If he bothers you again you can tell the Warden and she'll-!" Michael suddenly stopped, his eyes widening as he dropped the bag of blood. He suddenly grabbed Allan by the shoulder, leaning in before sniffing him. Draven and Tabitha tilted their heads. "What are you doing, Michael?" Tabitha asked. "You could just ask what cologne he uses, my man." Draven joked. Michael remained silent, before slowly his pupils turned from their normal rounded shape into slits. He abruptly stood as he let go of Allan, not saying a word as he walked away. Tabitha stared at him. "What is wrong with him?" She asked, getting up to pick up his empty bag of blood and throw it to the nearest trashcan. "Never seen him act like that before." Draven said, looking over to Allan. "Did you wear garlic scented cologne or something?" Draven joked, laughing at himself while Tabitha rolled her eyes. "Very funny." Tabitha hummed, continuing to eat her food. For a few minutes, everything was normal while they talked and ate. Suddenly, there was a rumble, and right in the middle of the mess hall, something fell from the ceiling. Well, more like crashed right through before landing right on one of the tables, luckily empty, dust and pieces of cement falling around as a giant hole now existed in the ceiling. Members gasped, looking up the hole. It had gone through 2 different floors before landing in this one. As the dust cleared, it revealed none other than Aldrich, chuckling in amusement as he remained unharmed, even while he snapped the table in half with his fall. "Well, I didn't expect that." Aldrich said, smirking as he saw Michael jump from the first hole down to the mess hall, landing gracefully before standing up. He...seemed different. His pupils were slit, his eyes glowing as his gloves had come off, his nails as sharp as knives. Aldrich stood up, smiling as he cracked his bones. "Come on, Michael. We don't have to do this." Aldrich insisted, raising his hands before taking off his gloves himself, revealing his sharpened nails. Michael didn't say a word, instead growling inhumanly as he took a step forward. Aldrich scoffed, before suddenly disappearing to the naked eye, re-appearing in front of Michael. Michael grabbed a hold of him by the chest, before spinning him and throwing him right into the nearest wall, causing Aldrich to leave a crater in the shape of his body. Aldrich rolled out of the way as Michael threw a punch right into the wall, the wall collapsing on itself due to his strength before chasing right after Aldrich, the two exchanging blows so fast sparks flew. The members watched in horror, eyes widening as they realized what was happening.

"VAMPIRE FIGHT!!!" "Someone call the warden!!!"

  • Author

"That would explain a lot of things." Allan chuckled at Tabitha's comment about monsters being highly attracted to humans.

Michael began giving Allan a warning before he suddenly stopped dead in the middle of his sentence and grabbed Allan.

"Shit that Vampire touched me and Michael knows."

"Michael?" Allan looked at him concerned as he suddenly stood with eyes in rage and stormed off.

"Michael! Nothing happened! It was just a stupid vampire not minding his own business!" Allan called after Michael, standing up, but Michael was gone quicker then the blink of an eye.

"That was weird...it was like he was a robot or something." Allan slumped back down in his chair and picked at his food.

"I hope I didn't say anything too weird..."

Allan thought hard before a loud crash sent him jerking up. There was a hole in the ceiling. Allan got up and rushed over to the hole, followers by many others. When the dust cleared, both Aldrich and Michael were revealed. Panic rushed through Allan's body as Aldrich was suddenly thrown across the mess hall. Tabitha and Draven were just as surprised, standing close to Allan to keep him away from intruding.

"That is the man from earlier! I don't know why Michael is doing this! He didn't even flirt with me that hard!" Allan tried to defend Aldrich.

"Outta the way!!!" The Warden yelled, two large silver battle hammers in her arms as she ran through the crowd, jumping up and getting on the piece of ceiling that collapsed.

"MICHAEL CASSIO. ALDRICH BACHMANN. STOP THIS RIGHT NOW." The Warden slammed her hammers into the concrete before twisting a tranquilizer from her back pocket.

"IF YOU CONTINUE, YOU WILL BE HIT." Her voice boomed out.

"Michael! Stop this!" Allan called out to his partner.

Tabitha and Draven stood close by Allan. The rest of the members either carefully watched the fight in case they needed to avoid an incoming hit. "I've never seen Michael so...angry." Tabitha admitted, her eyes wide. "I've never seen him fight like that...he isn't holding back." Draven said, gulping as he watched warily, the Warden arriving as she yelled for the two to stop. Michael and Aldrich were still going it at it, pulling and pushing at each other. However, while Aldrich was fighting in a more defensive stance, Michael was definitely going for the kill. He aimed his hits right in the neck or in the head. Aldrich had already gone through multiple close calls with Michael almost decapitating him, yet he never lost his cool. Michael seemed to fully ignore the Warden's warning, suddenly dashing straight at Aldrich as the speed of the lunge created a large crated on the floor, Michael aiming for decapitation once more. However- "Michael! Stop this!" Michael stopped mere inches away from Aldrich's neck, locking his body in place as he looked back at Allan, his eyes full of killing intent as he breathed heavily. "...Allan-!" "CASSIO AND BACHMANN!" The Warden screamed at the top of her lungs, glaring at the two as she breathed heavily. "The two of you; to Evington's office. NOW." The Warden ordered. "But-!" "Now." Aldrich fixed himself up, Michael gripping his fists tightly as he stepped away. The two turned to jump through the hole that they had created, only for the Warden to instruct them otherwise, before escorting the two of them to the elevator. "Call in the Clean Up crew. I want this cleaned up by tomorrow morning." The Warden said as she disappeared along with the two vampires. As soon as they were off the floor, whispers began to go wildly, questioning of what the actual hell had happened. Draven looked over at the two, eyes wide. "What the hell was that?!" Inside the office, both were reprimanded and scolded by both the Warden and Evington, but mostly Michael due to him initiating the fight. "Michael, we cannot have this repeat itself. Do you understand?" The Warden warned. "I can't believe you would allow him in here." Michael hissed. "As hot tempered as ever." Aldrich scoffed. "Both of you; I do not give a damn about whatever rivalry it is that you have. When it comes to the job, it comes first. I cannot have the two of you fighting, risking the lives of those around you while destroying the base. A single more confrontation and both of you will be forced into Stasis Suspension, and that is if I'm feeling in a good enough mood to not outright fire you! Am I clear?!" The Warden yelled, shutting the two of them up. "Yes mam." Michael said, his tone low. "Yes." Aldrich said, glancing over at Michael, who simply growled at him in response. The Warden rested back. "You are dismissed, Aldrich. Michael, stay." The Warden ordered. Aldich gave Michael a smile, before walking out of the room, closing the door behind him. "...Michael." "It's him. I know it's him. I'm telling you. Why on Earth would you bring him back?! Why on Earth would you bring him HERE?!" "Michael, he is an agent of M&M, and he has been transferred here to work until further notice. This is beyond my control." "He already knows of Allan. Are you seriously going to let him kill another one and expect me to do nothing?!" "There is no proof, Michael! This obsession has to stop!" The Warden slammed her hands on the desk, glaring at Michael. "You are to see Dr. Ryder for evaluation. Immediately." "...yes mam." Michael said, barely controlling his anger. "Good. You are dismissed." The Warden said. Michael turned, walking out the door, before slamming it closed hard enough to leave cracks in the wall around the door frame.

Allan had to be physically held back by Tabitha to keep him from running right after Michael and the Warden. He did not need to go after them. BUT that still gave him a reason to light up Michael's phone like wildfire.

Michael! Are you okay?

I'm sorry!

I probably shouldn't have said anything.

What happened between you two?

You aren't fired...right?

I have never seen you fight like that.

It was a little scary but

Whatever, are you okay?

Allan impatiently waited for a response. Of course, he wasn't going to get one. He threw his plate away and left the mess hall without any words. If anything, Michael would be with Ryder. So, that is where Allan went.

"Ryder! Is Michael here?" Allan asked frantically as he saw Ryder come around the corner.

"Yes...he is just around the corner. I am sure he'd like to see you right about now." Ryder pointed to Michael's location behind a curtain.

"Thank you." Allan quickly said, rushing around the corner and throwing back the curtain Michael was behind.

Sure enough, there he was, a little bit beaten up and looking both a mixture of slightly pitiful and extremely pissed off...but that changed quickly mainly thanks to Allan.

"Michael!" Allan rushed up to his partner, and just straight up hugged him probably a little too tight.

"Are you okay? I'm sorry I said too much." Allan asked immediately, stepping back and smacking Michael across the head.

"Look, you're the greatest....but that was uncalled for. I'm sorry. That was just...why did you do that, Michael?" Allan sat beside him, a hand on his shoulder and looking at him earnestly.

"You really scared me back there because I didn't know what was wrong. I didn't know if I did something or if it was something else. You could have lost your job over that, Michael. Honestly...if you lost your job...I wouldn't really know what to do. Just...please tell me why." Allan's eyes were a little sad in his statement.

Edited by Lady Aleister

Michael looked at Allan, his anger melting away into shame. He had never misbehaved, not like that. Certainly not in front of a partner. He pursed his lips, lowering his head. "It wasn't you, Allan. I'm...I'm sorry, Allan. It's just, that guy, he-!" Michael stopped, gritting his teeth as his hands tightened into fists, ever so strong that he pierced his skin, drawing blood. He looked at Allan. "You can't trust him, Allan. I'm serious. If you see him, walk the opposite way. If he gets near you, you spray garlic at him, and whatever you do, don't look into his eyes. Keep your distance until he's sent away. Promise me that, Allan." Michael insisted, holding his shoulders tight enough to bruise, quickly letting him go before he ended up hurting him. "Please...stay away from him." Michael asked, his eyes suddenly watering up. However, he didn't cry tears, instead he cried the only liquid his body really needed and contained; blood. Michael's body tensed up uncomfortably. Ryder stepped in, frowning as he handed Michael some tissues. "Allan, with all due respect, I ask of you to step outside. This...is a sensitive matter." Ryder said, guiding Allan away. "He'll need some time. It's not the first time this has happened, I assure you he'll be fine. Just...needs to calm himself out." Ryder insisted, turning away as he closed the door gently, leaving Allan outside. Suddenly- "I'm sorry about Michael." Aldrich stood closely down the hall, giving Allan a sincere smile. "It's...been a while since he's had a panic attack like that. Reason why I requested transfer. He hasn't been the same since the Blood Moon Murders." He offered, internally smirking to himself. "I would like to tell you my side, if you would allow it." He was a spider, and all he needed was for Allan to step into his web.

Allan's heart probably broke a little as he saw Michael begin to tear up.
"I promise Michael. I promise." Allan called to his partner as he was brought out of the infirmary by Ryder.

As soon as the door was shut, chills ran down Allan's body as he heard Aldrich's voice.

"Don't f***ing talk to me." Allan snapped at Aldrich, placing his hand on his hostler.

"I don't need to hear your side of the story because unlike you, I have good relations with people. I can find out about that case by myself and could probably even get your report of the exact case as well as Michael's." Allan was significantly pissed off, keeping his eyes away from Aldrich's.

"So you stay away from both me and Michael, and if you knew any better, you would be out of here before one of us decides to get rid of you ourselves." Allan left with that threat, turning away.

He marched straight to the Warden's office, knocking quietly.

"Come in," she called, and Allan walked through the door.

"Pleasure to see you." The Warden was obviously still upset.

"I need all the case files you have over the Blood Moon Murders." Allan insist, placing both his hands on her desk and staring at her.

There was silence for a bit...and then the Warden laughed sarcastically.

"No. I know why you want them, and I'm not giving them to you." she gave a big wide smile to Allan, and he didn't budge.

"Okay, fine then." Allan pivot on his heel, and walked out.

He had another plan.

"Well...that was easy enough." The Warden sighed.

~~~
Allan wait a couple more hours until night fell, up in his room, reading and writing down things about pure-blood vampires. Until, Theodosia came.
"My~ that was some stunt Michael pulled today." she fell through Allan's wall and float beside his desk, looking at the pages of notes he had written up.
"Perfect timing. I need you for something. Go get me every single case file on the Blood Moon Murders you can. They are in the Warden's office." Allan turned his head to Theodosia.
He looked tired without a doubt, but he was going to find out the truth behind Michael's sorrow...so he could help his partner out...and learn why Aldrich is someone to be feared.
"Okie dokie~~ Theif mission: START!" Theodosia smiled and quickly faded back into the walls of M&M.
Allan had circled something in his notes as Theodosia left.
Vampires are able to "charm" humans. Charming is a form of hypnosis or mind compulsion, which requires vampires to make eye contact and use their voices to mentally compel the victim. Excessive charming can have a negative effect on the mental stability of a victim. Vampires can charm at least two humans at the same time. There are ways to shield against being charmed.
"Got them!!" Theodosia fell back into Allan's room, startling him.
"Thank you, Theodosia." Allan quickly took the files from her and searched through them until he found Cassio and Brachmann.
"I just need to know what happened."
CASE: #2479 "Blood Moon Murders"
STATUS: UNSOLVED
REPORT: The "Blood Moon Murders". A series of unsolved murders committed in between two Blood Moon eclipses in a span of three months caused by a unidentified suspect who wears a mask to hide his identity. Despite the rigorous work of the investigators and department, the suspect was never caught. He is responsible for the death of 13 people, including one of our own investigators. Due to the cause of death, it has been suspected that our suspect is a vampire. However, he remains at large. The following reports compile the events of the last encounter with the suspect based on multiple eye witness accounts...
"Be advised! Suspect on the run heading into the Mons District! Suspect is to be considered S rank and highly dangerous!" "All patrols are to close off the area and block all major routes! All M9 units are to remain active!" "All residents around the Mons District are to remain inside and lock their doors. Hide within the innermost part of your home and arm yourselves until the situation is under control!"
"This is Cassio and Belladonna! We have visuals on the suspect and on the run!"
The sound of gunshots rang across the air as the suspect ran across the narrow alleyways of the district, his long black coat tailing behind as his mask shone under the blood moon with a red hue. Right behind were Clay and Michael, the two running after the suspect. Michael growled. "I can't fight him with these walls. We need to force him into an open area if I'm going to go all out!" Clay scoffed, smirking.  "Yeah. We wouldn't want you to break another thing today, would we?" "I-It was an accident! I promised I would buy you a new one!" Michael whipped his bladed whip, blocking the incoming knives flew right at them. He looked up, looking back at his partner. "I'll try and block him from above!" "I'll keep on his tail then. Go!" Michael jumped on the wall, using it to push himself from wall to wall until reaching the roof, where he proceeded to run in an attempt to tackle him from above. The suspect ran, barely dodging Clay's bullets as they created holes on his clothing. One bullet pierced the suspect's knee, causing him to stumble momentarily as the silver burned his skin and muscle. The suspect screamed in pain, turning to Clay as he took a step forward him. Suddenly, from above, Michael jumped down onto the suspect, kicking him right into the ground as the ground shook beneath them. "Michael!" Clay yelled, rushing right in after his partner and the suspect. As the dust settled, Clay's eyes widened at the scene. Michael coughed up blood, gasping as he stood over the suspect. In the suspect's hand a sharpened wooden stake, which he had used against Michael as he jumped down, using the force of the fall to stab the stake right through Michael's chest, right on his heart. "A wooden stake may not kill a vampire, but as long as it remains, you are good as dead." The suspect hissed, thrusting the stake further into Michael as he gasped, eyes wide. The suspect had caught him completely by surprise, using the situation against him. And just like that, they were no longer in control. "MICHAEL!" Clay screamed, eyes wide as he raised his gun, shooting right at the suspect. The suspect dropped Michael on the floor as he dodged the bullets, before disappearing from sight and reappearing in front of Clay, punching Clay in the stomach hard enough to hear bones crack. Clay gasped for air, dropping his gun as he fell on his knees. But he wasn't given much time, the suspect picking him up as he searched for his cellphone, finding it in Clay's pocket. He proceeded to crunch it in his hand, destroying it into pieces as Clay struggled. Clay reached for his walkie talkie, quickly speaking to the radio. "OFFICER DOWN! Cassio is down! We require backup! Please hurry! Officer do-!" Clay screamed into the radio, only to be thrown against the ground like a ragdoll, his head hitting the concrete floor hard enough to knock him out. Michael struggled to breathe, his vision fading with spots of black. The last thing he saw was the suspect pick up Clay before walking towards him.
Michael woke up with a start, gasping as he attempted to move only to feel a sharp pain against his chest. He looked around, finding himself in a darkened room. He was shirtless, countless of silver prods stabbing against his body. His arms were holstered up in chains, prods stabbing him right across his arms to keep them still. Against the sides of his body in between his ribs, silver prods stabbed into his skin, a wooden stake stabbing right into his chest. Were he to move he would end up piercing his heart through, and die again. Two silver prods that rose from the ground in an angle stabbed him right through his feet and stabbed him through his leg, right in the holes of his bones. He couldn't move. He was trapped, and bleeding without any sign of stopping. "You're awake." Michael looked up, seeing the masked suspect walk up. "You sick bastard." Michael hissed, shaking his head as he struggled. The masked suspect chuckled. "Yes yes. Get it all out of your system. Sick bastard! You will pay! Yada-yada..." The suspect said, walking around. Michael breathed heavily, before looking up. "...what have you done to my partner?!" The suspect stopped, turning to Michael. "The human?" "Where. Is. My. Partner." "He's fine." The suspect chuckled, stepping to the nearest wall as he got his hands on a switch. "Well...alive." He flipped it, a light illuminating the rest of the room. It showed bloody weapons scattered on the floor, fresh blood on the floor as dried up blood decorated the walls. Tied to a chair sat Clay, battered, bruised and bleeding as he panted for breath. Michael's eyes sharpened as he struggled wildly, the rods piercing into his organs and ripping his skin. "I'LL KILL YOU!" "You tried and see where that got you." The suspect walked over to Clay, pulling his head up by the hair. "I did tell him I could make it easier if he spoke. But he's been uncooperative." The suspect let go as he began to pick out weapons from the floor. "Speak about what?!" "The codes!" Clay said, looking up with eyes wide. "He wants the codes to the Master Files!" "firetruck." It was as ominous as it sounded. The Master Files. The files that contained the record of every single member of M&M within the country. Ranging from normal officers to undercover ones. What people wouldn't do for those codes. Including killing. "We don't know those codes...!!! Only the director knows!" Michael yelled. "Come on. You're a vampire. One of Evington's top men. I'm sure you've heard or seen the codes somewhere." The suspect insisted. Michael shook his head. "I don't know the codes!"  The suspect stared at him before sighing. "What a waste." He turned to face Clay. "We don't have the codes, leave him alone!" "But what would be the fun in that?" The suspect took out a baton, holding it tightly as he walked closer to Clay. "Maybe hearing him scream will make you remember!"
The torture went on for hours. From time to time, Clay would pass out, forcing the suspect to wake him back up, only to continue. By the time the suspect got bored of it, the night was already ending. Clay could barely move, every bone in his body broken as he bled. The suspect sighed, dropping the weapon. "It's going to end soon. The eclipse." He suddenly slashed away the restraints, forcing Clay onto his feet. Michael struggled again, holes of ripped skin across his body as he cried tears of blood, exhausted. "Let him...go..." He huffed. The suspect held Clay close, having him face Michael. "Watch, Vampire. This is our nature. This is what we are...and what we shall forever be." The suspect lifted his mask, before suddenly biting down on Clay, gaining one last scream from the human. Michael could only watch helplessly as his partner was drained dry in front of him. Michael screamed, watching the life drain from his eyes. He watched Clay take his last breath, before being dropped. By the time he hit the floor, he was dead. The suspect licked his lips, slowly walking to a crying Michael. "Now I commit the greatest sin, for the sake of vampire kind." The suspect said, holding Michael close as he prepared to bite him. "Fear not, Vampire. You'll see him soon-!" Suddenly the entire room shook, the sounds of gunshots roaring across the air.
"POLICE! GET ON THE GROUND!"
The suspect stepped away, only to pause and lean right into Michael's ear, whispering one final warning. "You'll be one of us...sooner or later." With that, the suspect ran off, making his escape through one of the many ways of the dungeon underneath the industrial area. Michael allowed himself to cry, the world going black around him as the last thing he saw was the Warden hurrying to his aid.
"Michael!!!"
Allan's eyes cloud with tears, he had been reading the report aloud and stopped reading it aloud once he could hardly get his voice out anymore. Theodosia placed a frozen hand on Allan's shoulder. Allan placed the report down slowly and wiped his eyes.
"P-Please put that back..." Allan rasped to Theodosia, and she took the reports and vanished without a word into the walls.
Allan tried to breathe some. Tears were rolling down his face, his eyes red with lack of sleep and he just kind of looked like shit. He pulled his hair away from his face.
"I swear to you Michael...if Aldrich was the vampire who did this to you...I will kill him." Allan stood up.
He was going to go see Michael. Should he? Probably not. Was he? Hell yes.
He opened his door, and quietly closed it, sneaking out into the hall...and all the way to Michael's room, as quietly as possible. He stood in front of the door for probably two minutes, a little nervous at knocking on someone's door at this time of night, but also needing to talk to Michael.
So he gently knocked.
"Michael? It's me, Allan. I'm sorry for knocking late...I don't even know if you're up...I just...wanted to see you, I guess..." Allan fiddled with his hands, talking outside of Michael's door.
His eyes were still puffy and he hadn't slept at all, and if being about two in the morning did not make this fact any better.
Michael had been sent to his dorm to relax. The entire time he decided to meditate, and over all mentally scold himself for loosing his cool. All of this time he had been sure that Aldrich was the one responsible. His scent was the same, his voice, and even demeanor. But the biggest hint was the phrase alone;
You'll be one of us sooner or later.
Michael and his friend hurried, barely reaching the front of the mansion as the rain began to pour. His friend, Feliciano, laughed as he turned to Michael. "At least we made it before we go our suits wet!" Michael chuckled, holding his mask in his hands as he watched Feliciano quickly strap on his. "Ready for the party?" Feliciano asked. "I am! But, won't you get in trouble? I mean, the invitation only asked for you. I don't want to get you in trouble-" "It'll be fine! They told us we could bring as many friends as we wanted, and I wanted you to come with me, seeing my date bailed out on me...again." Feliciano huffed, quickly grabbing Michael's mask and gently strapping it on Michael's face. "There. Now you'll blend in. Ready?" Michael smiled, turning to the door. "I guess I am. I haven't been to a party in a long time. It's exciting!" "Don't worry. Everyone here is a monster...you'll feel right at home."
As they entered the mansion, they were enveloped by the aura of the party. The crystal chandeliers gleamed with light, music playing across the hall as the guests danced with glee. Servants served drinks and food as they hurried, the guests wearing their best attires and most elegant masks. Michael and Feliciano smiled at each other before walking right into the action. Michael had to admit, it was fun. He even got to dance with a couple of lovely ladies along the way. He talked with other guests. Everyone was a monster, even the servants. It felt...oddly homey. "Would you like a drink?" A servant asked. Michael turned, smiling as he glanced at the many choices of alcohol. "No, thank you. I can't drink alcohol-!" Michael insisted. However, just as quick, a servant came up and offered him blood inside a glass. Michael's eyes widened as he gently took it. "I...thank you...?" Michael asked, and just like that, the servants were gone. His friend, Feliciano, hurried over to his side, laughing. "Hey! I told you this party would be fun!" Feliciano cheered. Michael nodded softly, before his eyes turned to face someone who had just walked up in front of him. He wore a red mask, to match his red eyes, his hair as white as snow, his skin pale. The young man smirked devilishly. "Another Vampire. My, how rare it is to find one of my kind in these kinds of events. Much less one of my own age." The man took Michael's hand, gently placing a kiss on it. "My name is Aldrich. Are you enjoying the party?" "Um, yes. I've never been to a party exclusively of monsters...This would be a first." "Oh don't worry." Aldrich insisted, smirking. "You'll be one of us, sooner or later."
Michael looked up as he heard a knock on the door, and then a voice; Allan. "Allan?" Michael asked. What was he doing up at this hour? Unless he was in trouble? Michael quickly stood up, hurrying to the door as he opened up the door, not expecting to see Allan crying out of all things. "Allan? Allan what happened? Are you ok?" Michael asked, gently getting his hands on Allan's shoulders.
"I'm okay, I'm okay." Allan wiped his eyes at Michael's concern, looking up to Michael.
"I am more worried about you." Allan invited himself inside, so he could explain some things to Michael.
"After I saw you today with Ryder...Aldrich confronted me in the hallway. Needless to say, he was quick to leave me alone or he was to get a silver bullet in his chest. He spoke of The Blood Moon Murders...and Theodosia stole them for me from the Warden....and I read them." Allan admit.
"I swear to you Michael, if Aldrich is the vampire who did this to you, I will do all in my power to dispose of him. You are one of the strongest beings I have ever met in physical...and mental strength. That is why I am grateful I am your partner." he was very sincere in his words, staring at Michael right in the eyes as he promised.
"I admire you probably a bit more than I should." Allan smiled, a true smile from his heart.
He then hugged Michael, whole-heartedly.
"I was also reading that book you gave me, and know why you don't want me to look into Aldrich's eyes now. I was worried about you and couldn't sleep and it's already this late at night." Allan muttered, it slightly muffled by his face being buried in Michael's chest.
"I know I shouldn't be up this late." he laughed lightly, letting out a sigh.
"
Michael's eye widened. He didn't expect for Allan to have read the file...then again, Theodosia seemed to have gotten a linking to Allan more than with any other member out there. He gently hugged Allan back, holding him tight, almost afraid to let go. "Oh Allan." Michael sighed, smiling softly. He let go of him, looking at him in the eyes. "You shouldn't worry yourself over something I've brought upon myself..." Michael insisted, frowning as he shook his head. "That...that incident happened a decade ago. A decade long. The suspect had been studying us and we underestimated him. He had been preparing to capture someone like us, someone from the M&M department, until he finally did...and Clay payed the price." Michael sighed, letting go of Allan. "I shouldn't have let it get to my head. This anger against Aldrich, my suspicions...they could be just as dangerous." Michael insisted, looking down at Allan. "But...I'm glad to have a partner like you too." He chuckled. "You're one of the most stubborn humans I have ever met, and honestly, I didn't think you would be able to keep up. Yet, you've surprised me. I've been the one who has been needing to keep up with you. I'm...glad that the Warden assigned us together." He said. He rubbed Allan's hair playfully. "You should head back to bed. You humans need more sleep than Vampires do...thank you for your support, Allan." Michael said, leading Allan outside. Just before closing the door, he held Allan close and gently kissed him on the cheek. "Good night, Allan. I'll see you tomorrow." Michael said, letting go of Allan before closing the door. Tomorrow would be another day. They had to be sure to keep up.
Allan's face lit up bright red, his mind trying to process what just happened. His cheeks were hot, him covering his face with his hands.
"Goodnight..." he muttered back to Michael.
Holy shit. That just happened. A smile crossed his face, and he walked down the halls just a bit faster, to his room, closing the door, and jumping onto his bed. Allan kept smiling as he slowly drift to sleep.
~~~

Morning came...too fast. Allan finally got up after hitting snooze three times. He slugged out of bed and got ready for the day, heading downstairs and grabbing a plate from Kirius. Hopefully, Allan still had Michael's scent on him...so if Aldrich did come, he would be pissed. Allan had a gameplan though...because if Aldrich tried to charm him, it wouldn't work. That's another thing about charming. If the person being charmed is already in love...it will not work.

The restoration group had worked overtime to fix the mess hall, much to everyone's relief. They even managed to seal up the holes in the ceiling. It wasn't the first time the base needed fixing up after a rumble. It wouldn't be the last. But man was this one rather extensive compared to other times. Everyone at in relative peace, including Tabitha and Draven as they sat with Allan. Just as quick, however, the tension spiked, the mess hall going eerily quiet. Draven gripped his milk tightly, Tabitha looking up. At the entrance of the mess hall, stood the two vampires; Aldrich and Michael. The two stared at each other, glaring. Everyone watched anxiously, getting ready to run if another fight broke out. "Michael." "Aldrich." The two glared, Aldrich sighing. "I don't want to fight you. I really don't. You know what will happen to us if we do. Remission isn't very...fun." Aldrich admitted. Michael crossed his arms. "I don't want that either." Michael commented, the two simply glaring at each other. "What is up with those two?" Tabitha whispered. "I know some Vampires are territorial, but I've never seen Michael act like this." "I began to ask around...and as it seems, it turns out that Aldrich guy is his ex." Draven explained. Tabitha chocked slightly as she gasped. "No way!" "That's the word. There's also something involving some murders...but that's classified. No one is suppose to talk about it." Draven explained. Tabitha narrowed her eyes. "...that explains the sexual tension-!" "HEY!" Suddenly, from the kitchen, Kirius stepped out, stomping straight at the two vampires. "If you two think you're going to destroy the mess hall you have another thing coming! I'll starve the both of you and will send you off to drink from the nearest grocery store's meat department!" Kirius yelled, scolding the two vampires. Michael seemed to try to apologize, while Aldrich seemed rather indifferent about being scolded by him. After Kirius was done scolding the two, he returned back to his kitchen, Aldrich and Michael exchanging glances. Michael looked away. "...I'll tolerate you...for now." Michael hummed, walking over to the table. He sat next to Allan, arms crossed. "Do you seriously still think it's me? Like I would have to kill a human for your affection." Aldrich said, walking over to the table. Seeing there was no free space other than the other side of Allan, he proceeded to sit down, not even asking him, his attention still on Michael. "It's been 10 years. The evidence proves I'm inocent. I frieking rescued your @$$ that night!" "I don't want to talk about it." "...this isn't even about the murders anymore, is it? IS IT THAT ONE TIME I DRANK YOUR GATORADE?"

"Whaaattt?!" Allan kept his voice quiet but was shocked upon hearing the news that Aldrich was Michael's ex.

Um...okay. Well that explains some things.

"Why does Aldrich seem to be after me then?! Michael's territorial over me!" Allan peeked his head to them.

"Sexual tension??!" Allan put his fork down.

Tabitha and Draven could probably tell more things than he could, but they were just confusing poor Allan in the process. Allan did tense up a little as Michael sat beside him, what happened last night making him blush a little bit.

"Good Morning, Michael." He greeted happily, smiling up to his partner.

However, when Aldrich sat beside him, Allan scoot close to Michael.

"Actually the person who saved Michael's ass was the Warden. Told you I'd get those files~." Allan picked up his fork and pointed it at Aldrich.

"Don't sit by me either." He then growled.

Aldrich's eyes looked down to Allan.

"You even replaced me with this smartass little thing!" Aldrich still kept trying to argue with Michael.

"I'm not little! I already told you not to play games with me!"

Aldrich growled at Allan, staring at the fork. "You think a plastic fork is going to do anything? I'll bite your arm off without breaking a sweat." Aldrich hissed. Michael quickly pulled Allan closer, glaring at Aldrich as he growled. "Touch my partner and I'll bite your head off." Aldrich's eyes softened, staring at Michael. "I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. Much less harm your..." Aldrich glanced at Allan, considering his words carefully. "...partner." "Then if you really mean it, then you can screw off and leave me alone." "It wasn't me, Michael!" Draven nor Tabitha did anything to help Allan, who sat in between the two, practically switched before their cellphones rang.

TO: MICHAEL; ALLAN

REPORT TO MY OFFICE. I HAVE A NEW CASE FOR YOU

-W

Michael quickly stood up, helping Allan out. "Come on, we have to report to the Warden." Michael said, glaring at Aldrich as he stared at Michael hopelessly. "Let's go, Allan." Michael said, walking away alongside Allan, leaving Aldrich with Draven and Tabitha, who were more than amused to watch Aldrich's reaction. Michael and Allan quickly made their way to the Warden's office, who was waiting for them. "Welcome you two. You ready for another case?" The Warden asked, sliding a file across the desk. Michael picked it up, opening it as he read it with Allan. "Another one out of the city?" Michael asked. "I hope that by the time you return, you would have cooled down with your involvement with Aldrich." The Warden said, quickly sitting up. "The Libri Academy is one of the many academies that caters to the supernatural. It has been recently been the victim of some 'pranks'. Though not unusual for places full of teenagers, these pranks are beginning to get out of hand, and are beginning to become a burden. Portraits are turned into tables. The dishes are thrown into the fountain along with dish soap. Books are being found shoves into tree branches. There has been no culprit found, and everyone is beginning to get scared. Your goal is to find out the culprit before someone actually ends up getting hurt." The Warden explained. The grades of the academy were high school based. Lots of teenagers. Lots of suspects. "We'll get right to it." Michael said, smiling at Allan. "Get your stuff ready, I'll meet you at the car." Michael said, hurrying off. As Allan stepped out, Aldrich was already there, waiting for him. "Please don't run away. I want to tell you something, at least listen to me once." He asked.

"I could at least get your eyeball with this thing." Allan threatened back to Aldrich as he threatened to bite his arm off.

He did not say anything else, his cellphone ringing along with Michael's.

"Bye bye~" Allan stuck his tongue out at Aldrich, following behind Michael close as they head up to the Warden.

"Good. A real case. Warden you don't have to go so easy on us you know. I've been waiting on a case like this for weeks!" Allan quickly read over the file.

"Are you sure we'll be able to slip in with a whole bunch of teenagers?" Allan asked the warden.

"You are short and Michael is still young looking for being like 1000 years old." The Warden joked with them both, knowing that Michael actually wasn't that old.

"Meet you there." Allan called to Michael as he ran off.

"Thank you two. Don't do anything uncalled for." The Warden called out as Allan walked out the door, him waving to her as he closed the door.

Allan stopped in his tracks as Aldrich stepped out in front of him.

"You have three minuets. I have a case to take care of and Michael and I need to be on our way." Allan crossed his arms, still avoiding eye contact with Aldrich as he spoke.
