(At first this kinda may seem like a repeated thread, but read on, yet it might be, I didn't think so at least, but I might be wrong so I don't know, it is MY theory after all so I'm not sure. Also, you probably will find lots of statements of the obvious with in this thread, don't worry, I'm not stupid, I'm just trying to make my points, and what better way to do it than to make sure everyone can understand =D)

Everyone wonders who the Mysterious Figure is, but we don't have the slightest clue. There are some good theories tossed around, but none of them can be entirely proved at this point. I however have my own thoughts about him, and I'm pretty sure they are relevant.

I'm not gonna try to guess about who the Mysterious Figure will be specifically, that's practically impossible, unless someone is like, in cohorts with Square-Enix o_O. Chances are that no one from Square-Enix is here, so we can only speculate. However we can look back and predict!

I'm obviously not the only person who has noticed this, but consider the last two secret bosses, the Unknown from Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix and the Lingering Sentiment. First, lets take a look at the Unknown.

The Unknown, obviously, is Xemnas. We know this by his attacks and his obvious interest in Sora, what he says to him, things like that. Nevertheless, the time when we can meet again will doubtless come. Is that statement true or not? It is, they do meet again, in Kingdom Hearts 2, the next big title in the series. What's the big deal you might ask? Only that the same thing has happened, but later in the series.

Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix +. We find yet another secret boss, the Lingering Sentiment, who we know to be the remnant 'will' of Terra. During the cut scenes he plays in before and after the battle, it seems he has a feud, a feud with Xehanort. Not entirely relevant to what I'm saying is it? Or is it? Remember Xemnas? He is connected to Xehanort. He, after being seen in Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix, is seen again in Kingdom Hearts 2, and like I said, the next big game in the series.

As we look at the Lingering Sentiment, a.k.a. Terra (Well not really but you get the gist.), we think to where we have seen him. Where have we seen him? Oh that's right, the game that just got released in America! Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, the next big game in the series! Starting to see a connection?

Both secret bosses have reappeared in the next big title game in the series and have a connection with Xehanort. This is where my theory comes into play. Oh look a new secret boss, interesting! He has weapons similar to that of Xemnas and holds an arsenal of abilities seen used by Keyblade wielders. Pretty powerful wouldn't you say? Pretty important? My theory is that he, like many people have said, has a connection to Xehanort like both of the other secret bosses we've seen, and that, like the other two secret bosses, he will be seen in the next big title, which we can presume to be Kingdom Hearts 3, but yet, can we say that with confidence? Will Kingdom Hearts 3 be the next big title? Or is there one more story awaiting to happen?

It is only speculation, but it is at the same time plausible, almost anything is plausible at this point, but only one thing is true, Kingdom Hearts (LOL I couldn't help myself.). Yeah that was just a bunch of bull right there. We all know that it's Chuck Norris! xD Sorry getting off track, I tend to do that a lot. But what do you think? Is what I pose just as plausible as anything else?

Hmm you pointed out somethin i pointed out he has the weapons of Xemnas meaning he has to hav some connection to Xehanort because Xemnas is his nobody.Another thing is that he has the organization jacket. So you mite be rite all the people in the previous games hav linked so he has to also.I guess my answer is so-so.

thats a good theory and all but i think the next big game is KH3D becaues Nomura said it will be more of a main game then anything so if your theory is true then we will see the MF in KH3D

ive heard so many theories idk what to think lol

Well, i THINK that it's MX, cuz' Ansem The seeker of darkness and Xemnas is 'Destroyed' that means MX have Returned, and in the Ansem secret reports, it said that when Ansem tried to pull the darkness out of '"Terranort' he pulled out something else,The power to use the Keyblade, so now Mx have to use 'Xemnas like weapons',

I have my theory, after Xemnas and Ansem were destroyed, Xehanort(o) Came back as MF

Yeah, it's seeming to be that way, that's why I kinda said that there might be a big game before KH3, and KH Dream Drop Distance is seeming to meet up to those standards, but I'm not sure if the Mysterious Figure will be seen in that game, however I'm pretty sure that he will make another appearance, they wouldn't just have this random guy with oober attacks fight you in Birth By Sleep for no reason whatsoever.
