yesterday morning while i was at school I had a tornado. The kids where freaking out too and were all like "we're gonna die". The warning sirens won't off because the people that watch for signs of a tornado spotted one near where i live. And i think the tornado lasted for about 15-20 minutes. then when it was all over we went back to class. Then, this morning on the news they said that the tornado from last night was BIG. they said it was bigger then any other tornado they have seen too. And this isn't the only times i had a tornado where i live either. back in 2008 on my graduation party there was a tornado near where i live and my friends were kinda pissed off at the tornado because they thought the tornado was going to ruin my graduation party.

Wow that's really something I would've freaked out if I were you. At least it didn't get you

wow! u guys were lucky

whoa I would be REALLY scared if I ever saw a tornado on real life

Good thing it didn't hit ya :) last year there was a big tornado that almost hit my city whew lucky it missed us

I've been through a hurricane before but never a tornado. I am glad that it didn't hit you, who knows what would've happened then? DX Anyways, I'm sure you're thankful that it's over.

Do you happen to live in Illinois?

Because if so, my geography teacher told us that the tornado there was one of the biggest in history and they made a new name for it the "chiclone" (sp?), Chi for Chicago, and clone for cyclone.

I heard it was pretty bad :/ Even when the tornado was gone there was 40 m/ph wind.

You were really lucky. Glad you're okay! :'D
