Everyone is asking who are the seven lights in the final battle against Xehanort. I just realized that probably they have been already revealed back in 2012 (!) and we never noticed.

So, I was rewatching the KH3D opening and look closely at minute 3:30.

 

 

Mickey, Sora and Riku are fighting MX, and Mickey summon from that book Terra, Aqua, Ven and Roxas. They get a group a seven warriors - plus Donald and Goofy, but they're "guests".

Terra and Aqua have been norted, I know, but I think that Sora and co will find a way to save them before the final battle. Also, KH3D is the chapter that actually introduced the story of the 7 lights and 13 darknesses, so, may Nomura have been foreshadowed this back then?

No, because of Lea and Kairi. It was a tease like the end of the 0.2 opening with Sora pulling Aqua out of the water.

I don't think Kairi is going to be both a Guardian and a Princess. As for Lea, he could actually replace someone. The only thing I always thought is Roxas never meant to come back (as Xion), but Nomura stated that he'll have a role in KH3, so...

She probably will be a GoL they have teased her at the end of DDD.

All I know is I'll be pretty upset if she goes through all this keyblade training and isn't in the final battle, Lea too. Because then it's like what's the point? Why have Kairi and Lea training if they won't be apart of it?
