"In my hands is your life. Trust me. Embrace me. I'll end your strife."

That is the motto of all members of "Heaven".

The members, called Strikers, protect the people in the world with unexplainable and extraordinary powers. They were sent from the gods themselves to watch over the humans in their time of need. And now, a new evil has risen, ready to annihalate the entire human race and anything else that stands in their way.

The enemies, or Slashers, have one mission only: To find the object known as the 'Devil Factor', a ruby orb who's power is yet to be known. However, the Strikers take no chance to hesitate.

The time to fight is now.

The Roleplay will start but sign-ups are still open.

You may begin.

Sai enters the Temple, now excited for action. "I guess its time you have your fun, since if I try to find them, I will be anything but stealthy." "Finally!". A black aura engulfs Sai, and for a moment his body cannot be seen through the solid darkness covering him. After a few moments, the aura fades away, showing an altered Sai. His eyes were glowing a bright goldish color, his teeth bared, having fang like teeth, his nails longer and demon like, and his skin tone a light tan.

"Hehehe", Sai giggles as he melts into the shadows. He knew where the Strikers were heading, and he smelled the fear emitting from them. The person whom he had followed into the temple must be dealing with them. "You can run but you can't hideeeeee", a playful, demonic says, echoing throughout the whole temple.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it...!" Zeph thought, fumbling around in his pockets for something - anything - he might be able to use as a weapon. To his dismay, in the matter of seconds he had to find something, he didn't feel anything sharp pricking at his fingers like before- so instead, he made sure to step in front of Destiny before blindly fumbling around for a grip on the Striker girl.

He usually took some kind of light source with him on missions at night, and he knew he'd been stupid not to bring anything save for that zippo lighter, which had been jammed in his pocket anyway. He'd rushed on the mission, he knew that- and, for the sake of annoying Luna a little sooner, had probably quite severely handicapped himself.

Destiny rolled her eyes as he stepped in front of her and searched for the Striker girl. This was why she had trained her mind to be her weapon and not used a physical object. This way she'd have it wherever she went.

"Storm. Really?" She inquired, fighting back the urge to roll her eyes. Honestly, if he didn't have a weapon why didn't he just say so so she could illusionize one. It'd still work just as good as if it were an actual object. "If you need a weapon you could simply ask." She stated calmly, not to concerned about the Striker -who had also just mildly insulted her- as she made little circles with her finger, light purple smoke following her fingertip.

"I can fight just fine without one-" Zeph snapped back, just about managing not to succumb to the urge to turn around and glare at his fellow Slasher. Instead, he just raised his voice and carried on facing forwards, but that meant he was practically yelling over his shoulder at her. Oh well. It was as though he thought there was any need to be discreet- as far as he was aware, there was only one Striker around, and it didn't even occur to him that she might get any backup.

"I'm not entirely useless, you know, Luna," he continued his mini-rant, refusing to even think of accepting help. After all, he'd be able to fight just fine...

Once he actually made contact with Rust.

Skyler's heart started beating faster. She'd glimpsed the Slasher who'd followed them through the Temple as she and Astra raced out, and she heard the howl of what could only be a second Slasher. Skyler moaned hopelessly. Would they be stopped before they reached Rust? Her fight was much less fair. She was taking on two, likely more expirienced Slashers, while Skyler and Astra were a little more expirienced, and had an even match of two Slashers and two Strikers. Skyler winced, and glanced at Astra. She whispered, running a little bit closer to her friend, "There are two other Slashers. We'll just have to fight off four if we make it all the way to Rust's location. Shouldn't we just get rid of these two first? If it takes too long, one of us can stay and fight while the other goes to help Rust out."

Destiny rolled her eyes, crossing her arms across her chest in a huff as she put all her weight on one leg.

"Storm, move." She stated, closing her eyes to see if she could focus on the point where Rust would surely be. At least then they could actually make some progress instead of searching around like blind fools. As she felt her senses tingle a wrinkle creased in her brow. The Striker was a little farther back now...

"Five feet ahead, to the left." She stated, concentrating as the Striker kept on guard. Why was this so difficult for her?

Rust backed off, but only enough to give herself some room.

"You're dead, Slasher scum!" Her dirk flew through the air, just narrowly missing Destiny's head. "firetruck!"

Stuck facing two Slashers with no weapon...how freaking wonderful.

  • 3 weeks later...
Displaced air whipped at Storm's face as the dirk flew past Luna and, in turn, him- he made a sharp intake of breath, but managed to keep his cool enough not to go stumbling to the side or scream like a little girl. His fellow Slasher's name slipped out before he could stop it- thankfully, just her codename, but he knew she couldn't be hurt- after all, the weapon had gone flying past both of them, had never made contact- but the warning... just slipped out, annoyingly. Trying to cover the blunder, he charged forwards, trying to follow her guidelines the best he could while going blind. Trying to hit Rust, simply- he only had his fists to fight with, anyway.
  • 3 weeks later...

Luna blinked, realizing the dirk had missed her by a mere centimeter and was somewhat thankful Storm had called her name; she may not have turned her head in time. She could see the Striker very dimly now as she moved away and her comrade followed, keeping up with her fairly well as the distance between them grew shorter. As she was about to smirk and praise him as a taunt, she hesitated, her mind clicking.

"Storm, I think you need to hit her right side, her reaction there is a bit delayed compared to the left." Bingo. Finding the weakness.

((I'm sad. This thread died just when it was getting good....))

I agree. :c

Attempted revival anyone? 8D

/off to catch up again

If Astra answered, Skyler's heart was beating so loud in her ears that she couldn't hear. She knew that it was too early to be overthinking things, but Skyler was worried. They'd be in big trouble if something happened to Rust, and in even bigger trouble of something happened to them. Of course, she was already thinking of the aftermath, not the sure to be coming fight. "Rust! Where are you!?" She yelped.

((I'm all for reviving this thread x3 Rosie is hardly online though whis is tough for my OC but whatevs :D))

Destiny's sharp ears pricked at the sound of yet another Striker. Her voice echoed in the night calling out for the one they seemed to be fighting; Rust. A smirk curled onto her lips. The fools. Why would they do such a thing? They've now given them another oppurtunity to gain information. Not to mention, the Striker force would now be down two numbers once defeated. Destiny gave a low giggle of insanity, an eerie lilt of humming rattling through her throat as her crimson eyes glinted darker. Her true side was coming out.

"Yes Rust come out come out wherever you are little Striker~! Let's have some fun and play a game!" Destiny giggled, attempting to stifle it but instead having it turn out to malevolent and slightly maniacal. Her sadistic side was escaping it's tight confines--she was about to let loose and it didn't matter that it was right in front of Zeph.
