"In my hands is your life. Trust me. Embrace me. I'll end your strife."

That is the motto of all members of "Heaven".

The members, called Strikers, protect the people in the world with unexplainable and extraordinary powers. They were sent from the gods themselves to watch over the humans in their time of need. And now, a new evil has risen, ready to annihalate the entire human race and anything else that stands in their way.

The enemies, or Slashers, have one mission only: To find the object known as the 'Devil Factor', a ruby orb who's power is yet to be known. However, the Strikers take no chance to hesitate.

The time to fight is now.

The Roleplay will start but sign-ups are still open.

You may begin.

Astra shook her head at Skyler. "No. If a Slasher does get in, I don't want them taking us on one on one. There's strength in numbers. She walked into what looked like a giant cathedral, ruined and crumbling. She looked at the ceiling. There was a giant, elaborate painting of angels descending from the sky and the earth splitting open with flames erupting everywhere.

"Whoa..."

"I can deal with it," Zeph tried to mutter, but the sound barely left his lips, his voice tiny. He nearly jerked his arm right out of Luna's grip at first, a sudden fierce revulsion to any kind of touch flaring up within him. But, even as she was dragging him, that childish terror inside him was dwindling. The empty hole inside him was still there, hollow and bottomless as ever, but he could pay less attention to it. It was just a matter of dragging his thoughts away from it. That was easy, right? He couldn't help but remind himself how stupid it was. He was a Slasher. He shouldn't have been afraid of anything. So why was he so scared?

It was just an echo of his childhood, an immature fright; like monsters under the bed. That was how he'd stopped it terrifying him when he was younger- it was just like the monsters.

Because it was all in his head, and if he stopped believing it was real, it would go away. Everything would.

"No. You can't. Neither of us can. We'll come back when we're more prepared, if that time ever comes." Destiny said plainly, tightening here grip when she felt Storm try to pull out of her grasp. Even though she knew it was only because he was still suffering a bit from the effects of the Temple she felt a small pain jab at her, though it was because of the child inside of her awakened with her sadist, one of which she thought would have died from being buried so deep inside of the endless crevices of her mind. The part of her that she sealed away after her first mess up...and when her father sealed her fate.

Destiny shook the unpleasant thought out of her head, trying to rid her head of the unnecessary sentimental crap clogging up her head. Still, it didn't stop the small waver in her voice.

"I...apologize for my behavior before, that was very out of line for me." She stated stiffly, not to keen about saying 'sorry' to a fellow Slasher, let alone Storm.

"You're... you're apologising to me?" Zeph stared at her, utterly incredulous, for a long moment. And then, finally, a startled laugh burst out of him, sounding more like a choking noise than anything else, but that was just because his throat was still a bit closed up from before. "That stick up your ass fall out or something?" he spluttered, the tense set to his shoulders lessening as he relaxed, as he started to ignore it a little more.

It was still there, that feeling. It always had been. He just had to learn to ignore and surpress it, until he'd be able to overcome it.

Destiny felt a light blush stain her cheeks and she hit Storm upside the head again, a scowl reappearing on her face. She glared at him, slightly teasing and mocking, her usual look of annoyance.

"Please, I did it only so you didn't go complain to 'Superior'." She lied, masking her amusement. She would sooner be dead then be caught feeling something other than irritation for Storm. Besides, it wasn't hard to perfect a mask that she had succeeded in keeping flawless from over the years. It's likely Storm would never see any of who she was before becoming a Slasher...no one would see.

"About what, exactly? You hurting my feelings?" His grin was genuine, no hesitation about it at last. Well, incredibly smug as usual, but at least it felt natural again. "I don't think that would go down well. He might start thinking shoving us on missions together is a good idea for my punishment. Urgh." He shuddered, and shook the arm in her grasp lightly, his smirk spreading further across his face.

"You enjoying that?"

Destiny sputtered, her eyes darting to look at him incredulously.

"What?! In your dreams Storm..." She denied, attempting to look nonchalant as she continued walking ahead. She could never like Storm of all people being in contact with her...right? "And don't let yourself believe it's just you who'd be feeling punished~" She corrected, inquiring that she to would be put in incredible anguish. Though that was a lie. She personally wouldn't mi--No, get those thought out of your head Destiny, he's not important to you! She scolded herself internally, hoping that her fellow Slasher couldn't see the creeping blush.

Squinting through the gloom at her, Zeph could swear he saw her cheeks darken furiously. He couldn't really rely on his eyesight there, but he assumed she was anyway, for the benefit of teasing her. Even if she wasn't, and she got angry again, having her pissed off was just as fun. He just wasn't so used to the idea of her even seeming embarrased.

"I wouldn't blame you," he continued. "I am, of course, stunningly attractive. And talented. And, as always, incredibly humble about it all."

Destiny blushed even harder, looking in the opposite direction as it was all she could do to hide her tomatoes red face. That damn brat...how could he even....this was so irritating.

"Sh-shut up!" She ordered, having a hard time keeping up her demeanor without revealing she was in all truth embarrassed. From what Storm was saying or from her own unknown feelings brewing, she wasn't sure. And she wasn't sure if she liked it either. Maybe she did....But she hoped not. Maybe.

"So you admit your little lock trick WAS flawed," Skyler muttered under her breath. "You know, on top of the fact that this place seems evil--" She stopped suddenly, Skyler's breath catching in her throat. She opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. She felt her eyes glaze over, blanking. Not all of Skyler's visions were of those from the future. Sometimes she could catch glimpses of the past. Not that she was willing to, of course. Millions of someone else's memories of this place flooded into her mind. "S-Someone--"

"Ha! So you really are embarrased!" Zeph said triumphantly, then paused, digging his heels in so she physically couldn't drag him any further. He fumbled in his pockets for a few moments, fingers scrabbling at loose change and gum and countless amounts of fluff, until he tugged the slim plastic tube from his jacket, resisting the urge to hum out a fanfare. It took him a few tries, and a hissed curse word or two, but eventually he managed to make the lighter flare into life, holding it up between them, still straining his eyes, and trying to get a good look at her face. "Ah, so you really are blushing. I wasn't imagining it. Not that I would."

Astra sighed. "Well, yes, it was." she answered, a little peeved at Skyler calling her magic a 'trick'. "Why don't you just use your little psychic powers and check if my spell is gonna break." she retorted.

Astra turned to Skyler. She had that lost, distant look in her eyes. "S-someone.."

She took hold of her shoulders. "What happened, Skylight?!" she asked, desperate, using her codename.

Skyler couldn't hear Astra. The words reached her, but she couldn't seem to comprehend them. She watched as someone she didn't recognize seemed to be.. expirimenting? The place was filled with a dark energy even a normal person could have sensed. What looked like an explosion. Someone scribbling a frantic note, whispering words she could just barely make out.. that terrified her. Someone screaming.

Skyler shivered, and squeezed her eyes shut tighter, but all it did was define the colors, making it seem so much more real. The vision faded away, and all she could see was a faint dark red. She blinked her eyes open tentatively. She shook her head at Astra. "N-Never mind.."

Destiny blinked, noticing the fire in front of her face, illuminating her pale skin and red eyes. It took her a moment to realize what exactly Storm was doing. And what he just said. She froze, unsure of what to say. She was blushing. In front of Zeph. Visibly. Her eyes widened slightly in shock and she attempted to move back, but her fellow Slasher had her arm in an iron grip.

"I-I'm not...! It's just cold is all!" Destiny cursed herself for giving such a weak excuse that was hardly believable. I mean, she usually ignored the chill that crept up her spine. But it seemed embarrassment was inevitable here. She only hoped Storm wouldn't do anything irrational. Then again...that's why it's called a hope. They never really are correct.

(Mah iPod is woooooorking and I don't know whyyyyy. 8DD If I disappear, the internet's turned itself off.)

"Cold my ass. You weren't even noticing it before," he pointed out, stubbornly, the flickering glow from the lighter only making the smirk on his face look etched in even deeper. He dropped it for a moment, lookly deadly serious for once- and then broke after a few mere seconds, spluttering out a laugh.

"It's cute, honestly, Lu," he teased, the smug look on his face cockles than ever. "Bet you just loved getting this mission. Since you were flirting horrifically back near the Temple."

Hm. Perhaps mentioning the Temple itself wasn't too clever an idea. It wasn't as though Zeph had behaved in a way he didn't regret there.

(Woman, if you keep using that tiny text, I IZ GONNAH SLAP YOU.)

Astra released Skylers shoulders. Her eyes returned again, losing that hazy look. She looked at her, concerned.

"What did you see Skylight?" She asked tentatively. "I'm pretty sure it wasn't nothing if it made you space out like that." Astra glared at her, more with concern than anger. Whenever her friend did lose consciousness like that, she saw something relevant with the place they were in or if there was danger near...

((It's not tiny. D8< My text is fifty times bigger than yours. My post could eat your post.))

Skyler waved her hand, making sure that it didn't shake. "I said it was nothing. Just a little history of the place. The Devil Factor was made here, but we already knew that. There'll be Slashers in here at some point tonight. Tomorrow morning latest." She was proud of her acting skills. She sounded nonchalant enough.

"We should probably hurry up, though. I don't know when they'll be here for sure. We probably shouldn't stick around for it, though." Skyler squinted into the gloom of the spooky place. "I see why they named it the Temple of the Damned. You can practically see ghosts coming out of the walls. This place gives me the chills."

((bitches my post can raep all of y'all. random entrance ftw))

Scarlet had snuck away from Storm and Luna long ago, unnoticed apparently. Which worked in her favor. Who knew she could be so unnoticeable? Well Rashel at least.

Of course, mostly she didn't want to be around them. She could feel the darkness. She could feel the negative energy. That's why Rashel had lost control of course, and they were bound to or probably already did.

Scarlet had snuck around and found two Strikers.

One of them was the one from before, in Venice.

She was with a younger looking Striker, a mere child, and both of them looked completely vulnerable to Scarlet.

A twisted smirk was on her face as she followed them closely, careful to not make no mistakes, careful to omit not one sound. Everything had to be perfect. She didn't want to miss out this time.

Skyler couldn't get the images of the explosion, of a quick flash of a little boy's face, and of some really evil things she couldn't even begin to understand, just feel the air of darkness sickening her. Worst of all, still ringing in her ears, was that scream. It'd been one of the last parts--was it part of the past she'd been seeing? Or something that was soon to come? It was hard to tell, everything being so jumbled as it was.

For some reason, she felt nervous. Like she was being watched. The hair on the back of her neck stood up. She twirled her ponytail, and tried not to walk any faster. The place was spooky and had some creepy old memories--so what? That was the past, not now.. right? Why worry. "Let's just hurry up and look around," She murmered to Astra half-heartedly.

(xD Silly Rosie~ Make up your mind~ Stay on or leave xD Lol, jk.)

Destiny felt her brain go dead for a minute, her thought process stopping entirely. Zeph, the source of all her squabbling, the source of all her worries with getting in trouble with the 'Superior', thought it was cute how she blushed and was embarrassed? The source of her annoyance and constant amusement, thought her blush and embarrassment was firetrucking cute?! She gave a light gulp, her struggle against his hold becoming weaker. That feeling, one she had locked away, rose again, making her feel a little unsure of herself. What was it again? Being nervous?

"I-I was not! I don't flirt! Especially not with fellow Slashers!" Destiny sputtered, fighting the losing battle of keeping cool and controlling herself a bit more. But it felt nice to let loose, just a little. Destiny vowed this would be the last and only time this would happen.

Astra gulped. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone breathing down her neck. She turned her head slightly, only to see tht there was no one behind her. She sighed, dissappointed. This WAS the Temple of te Damned... A lot of crazy crap happened here. She turned to Skyler.

"Right. Let's go."

Skyler's constant visions were starting to annoy the hell out of her. But this one only lasted for exactly one-point-six seconds. She only saw a flash, but she got the idea pretty quickly.

Someone had gotten past their defenses.

Someone was inside the Temple of the Damned.

That "someone" was a Slasher.

Skyler glanced around. There was no one but Astra in sight. "Slasher," She made the word a breath, so if there was a Slasher near, they wouldn't hear. "Here. In the Temple. Right Now." Skyler's talent being to see the future, she wasn't provided with much of a weapon. So, she improvised. Skyler was an expert at Tae-Kwon-Do, but found it kind of silly. She needed a sledgehammer or something. What beautifully violent thoughts for a thirteen-year-old kid. Skyler spotted crossed swords just above the entrance. "They really do have everything here.." She murmered.

Rain fell heavily from the sky, threatening to drench everything in sight.

Unfortunately, Sophie--or

@DLC

lulz, we can make it fit in, love. <3

Skyler squinted, scanning the room, in a hurry to be out of here. The Temple of the Damned was creepier than she'd been expecting, and that was saying something. You know, especially considering she was being stalked. Actually, it was saying a heck of a lot. She shivered--what, no air conditioner in a freaky old temple no one had probably been to in forever? What was up with that? They could make some serious cash off of ghost tours here or something.

Another vision flickered before Skyler's eyes, but she didn't stop walking. She didn't even give any sign she'd had one. The vision was of a girl she'd seen once--Rudy? No, Rust--scaling a cliff. Skyler was fairly sure it was present, but not sure why she was recieving the vision. Usually they were only about things relevant to her. What did this have to do with anything? Or was that girl climbing a cliff to get.. here?

"Where are your comrades?"."How the hell should I know?"."Fool. You should have kept up with them!". Sai grunts as he continues walking towards the temple. He was getting to become a bother. "Just let me do this on my own, okay?", Sai grumbles as he kicks a small pebble in frustration."Why should I do that? I've been apart of you ever since you were a child. I've made all of the major decisions." Images of a woman and a man, lying mutilated on the floor flash in Sai's mind. He shudders. "Your 'decision' is the reason I was in solitary confinement until now!".

Sai stops and decides to take a seat. He wasn't going to miss anything anyways. He sits with his legs crossed in the cool grass, letting the night wind blow his hair. "Solitary confinement is what is best for you anyways. Look at you, you are talking to yourself.". "Shut up!", Sai yells. A fox hunting nearby for food stops and looks at Sai, and then walks away. Sai starts to rub his temples, trying to keep his cool. But then he sees a figure outside of the temple entrance, attempting to sneak in. Sai takes a whiff of the air. It is an ally. He gets up from his seat and begins to walk slowly towards the temple, itching to see what was going on.
