OK I've got two questions in this thread. The first is that is it true that Master Xehanort actually became a Nobody for at least a few seconds? I think this because when he

relased his heart and put it into Terra, his body was left without a heart before dissapearing

. My second question is, do we still need spoilers for birth by sleep, since it's been out for almost two months now?

His heart was never lost to the darkness, it just went inside Terra.

 

Technically though, he DID eventually lose his heart to darkness, but in his new body.

He didn't become a Heartless, so he didn't produce a Nobody.

It doesn't matter that he didn't become a Heartless or not. The fact of the matter is, his heart left his soul and his body behind. And that what a Nobody is composed of, a soul and a body. It shouldn't matter if the person if a Heartless or not, because technically MX was in the same predicament of a person who becomes a Heartless.

 

Both lose their hearts, except MX just transfered his heart to something else. A Nobody still could have been produced.

Yes it does. Nobodies are only created when strong hearted people lose their hearts to the darkness and become Heartless. Then the body and soul they leave behind will become a Nobody. MX didn't fulfill that requirement.

This is the first time something like this has happened.

I'm sure Nomura will come up with some excuse to cover this up anyways.

Either it is a Nobody (which I believe), or its something we've never seen before.
