Like the rest of the 4Kids voices (except Eggman, I believe), Jason Griffith was given the boot for Sonic and Shadow. In Sonic Free Riders, however, we get to hear Shadow's newest voice actor. Who is it, you may ask? Well, it's none other than Kirk Thornton.

 

That's right: the same person who voices Saix in the KH series.

just like new sonic, the voice itself is really good but it doesn't fit shadow in the slightest.

Why does the voice sound familiar?

Because it's the same person who voices Saix from KH2 and Days, and Isa from BBS.

As much as Saix pwns, this isn't the right voice for Shadow. His old voice was better, as well was Sonic's old voice.

loads of people didn't like jason griffiths as a voice actor, but comparing him to some of his others, he actually fits sonic perfectly.

 

but you know what they need in sonic? MORE CHARACTERS PLAYED BY DAN GREEN.

Gonna miss Jason as Sonic and Shadow. As much as I like Kirk, I don't really think his voice fits Shadow. Probably just because I'm having trouble adjusting.

It'd probably be better if we could see Shadow talking.

the only problem i see with this game, is it looks very 'zoomed out'. in unleashed, the camera was quite close to sonic, but here is seems a million miles away.

and it seems there is too much of the gameplay thats side view, i'd prefer much more like the proportion of side-to-back view that was in unleashed. but eh, seems cool, i'll ask for it for christmas
