Errors in the mechanics of Magic in the game

Posted

I have been anaylsing the mechanics of the Magic on some enemies, and I believe there are some errors with it. I can't avoid to compare the effects of the Magic as the effects of the Five Elements in asian culture, or even in Pokemon's mechanics. Let me explain them:

+ It seems the Water Cores are vulnerable to Fire Magic, but that shouldn't work, because Water quits Fire. It should be more efficient to use Electro Magic because Water conducts Electricity. Don't you think?

+ Against the enemies named Chief Puff and Puffball, you are supposed to use Aero Magic, but that should work against them; especially because they are plants based on dandelions and wind only helps them to spread their seeds. It should me more effective to use Fire and Ice Magics, because Fire and Ice kills Wood.

+ So, this is how the elements must work:
- Fire melts Ice, so Fire beats Ice.
- Water quits Fire, so Water beats Fire.
- Thunder conducts through Water, so Thunder beats Water.
- Aero beats Thunder? (I'm not sure about this).
- Ice chills Air, so Ice beats Aero (not sure).
*Against the Earth Cores and similar enemies, Water and Ice should work.
*Against Plant enemies, Fire and Ice should work.

So, what do you think?
