Kingdom Hearts III wins Excellence in Animation at the 2020 SXSW Gaming Awards

Kingdom Hearts III has yet added another award to their collection. This time, the game won the award for Excellence in Animation at the 2020 SXSW Awards. Other games that were included in the category were Apex Legends, Death Stranding, Luigi's Mansion 3, and Mortal Kombat 11.

 

Kingdom Hearts Co-Director Tai Yasue accepted the award on behave of the development team with a video that was posted on SWSX's Youtube page. You can check it out by clicking here.

This is the 2nd award the game also won in 2020. Kingdom Hearts III also won for Original Dramatic Score (Franchise) at the 19th annual NAVGTR awards back in February. Congratulations to Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix, Pixar, and Disney for winning this award!
