hey guys, i have bought Epic Mickey for the wii and ive been thinking, could this be how Mickey became Yen Sids apprentice?? its possible for the story line ive seen so far. But what do you guys think, i know its not named for the KH series but i mean it could be possible. I mean going from holding a brush to a key it wont change much, and also from what ive seen so far Mickey owes Yen Sid a favour, could it be to help out the light in different worlds and protect it from darkness??

Doubt it. Two very different games.

I think not since Epic Mickey and the Kingdom Hearts series are two COMPLETELY different things and shouldn't even be in the same sentence together, but I guess it's an okay theory.

Epic Mickey was made by people who care about how there going to portray Disney's History in a game and does it well unlike KH

What does Epic Mickey have anything to do with KH? Kingdom hearts and Epic Mickey are two different games. Just because they were both made by Disney doesn't mean that it's always related to KH.

They have nothing to do with each. Although I dont like the fact Mickey traded in his keyblade for a paintbrush, and created a paint like heartless lol.

Anyway, yeah, Epic Mickey deals with Mickey being a famous celebrity while other toons were forgotten, it exists outside the canon, as it were. However, as an origin story for the basis of the setup in Fantasia would make some sort of sense I guess.

I'd like them to do a crossover or cameo in other games, but I don't think that's going to happen. It was KH that rejuvinated Mickey, but I think things that start in the KH universe stay in the KH universe. Even the FF series don't have any connecting stories, except the connections between characters. I would like to see a Final Fantasy world with a Final Fantasy storyline in an upcoming game though. The closest I think we'll get to KH references in another game is in the Simpsons game, where a Keyblade is shown for a few seconds.

 

Also, with a username like MasterXemnas, you have to call everyone a fool. Keeps you in character.

I think it's funny. It reminds me of a minor character from a show I sometimes watch. But unlike said character he's using it as a catchphrase not an insult

 

Anyway Square had absolutely nothing to do with Epic Mickey and even though it's a joint project Square is the one who actually does all the production of a Kingdom Hearts game so it's pretty unlikely that Epic Mickey will ever even be referenced in the Kingdom Hearts series.
