Yeah, I know, I'm a bit too young to be working.

But, I got a job nonetheless. It's at my aunt's store who's she's selling to my mom, therefore I am either going to work there willingly or be forced to help with no pay D<

So today I went to work and get the hang of things, and for $20 dollars a day I thought it was alright, especially since I get tips.

It's a weird garage store kinda thing? I dunno what they're called but basically you drive through and can buy beer, cigarrettes, food, ect. I feel like it's really Mexican because I have to speak Spanish there ._.

Downside is I work late hours, like today I got home at 1 am. And I can't go to bed because I'm hyped up on Monster. ._.

But it's cool because I can save money up for my cosplay costume c:

$20 a day??? that is very good pay. shame you have to work bad hours but you'll get a load of money in no time if you keep working there

Yeah 20 a day is very good for that type of job. Just go easy on the monster and you'll be fine.

$20's a day is good, but it would be better if you got payed by the hour, imagine if you got paid $4/hour, if you worked for more than 5 hours you'd be getting more than you are now, and that isn't even the minimum wage, minimum wage is like $8/hour, you would be loaded 8D

Well, I basically worked from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am Saturday night so I work for a while Per hour pay would be nice, but the tips make up for them, although I didn't get many since I'm new to the store

And I couldn't ask to get paid more or anything, since girls usually get more tips at stores like this or even just something like waitressing, and since I'm actually working with my cousin, he gets paid more because he's also in charge when any of the owners aren't there

Though I'll only work Fridays and Saturdays, and maybe just every other weekend because of school things and ect. So I don't think it would be like $620, far less than that. Maybe $100 or so, not counting if I get tips.

Getting your first job is a great milestone, so congrats. It'll do you heaps for experience and what-not. However, regarding money, I have to agree with Koolkingdom. You should consider getting a job at McDonalds or something and earn that much in 2-3 hours, you shouldn't have to work.. 7 hours to get $20. However working will be a very helpful experience.
