In this video, I will be tracing the connections between 52 different versions of Xion’s theme, following the journey from when her battle theme was called “Dirge of the Fourteenth”, until today, where we know it as “Vector to the Heavens”, establishing how there are many hidden influences between all these versions, including some of the official versions included in the games.

I did a LOT of research for this video, and although there were some issues with the editing, I'm still very excited to share the results. I know it's a very long video this time, but if you're a fan of KH music, I believe you'll find it very interesting :) I also tried to make this one as easily digestible to those unfamiliar with musical terms, as possible. I hope you enjoy it!

Wow you really covered a lot! Great job Kinode! I remember when I thought "Dirge of the Fourteenth" was the official name just because of how much it had caught on. xD

I think I may have tried to teach myself to play the version you mentioned by Noah some years ago. I was never able to play it too well though haha, and my hands would hurt afterwards. xD I haven't attempted it in a long while.I've definitely heard some of the other fan made renditions mentioned in the video as well, though I never thought about how they could have all had some connections to each other.

Thank you! I've always been fascinated by the reach fan arrangements can have and how they shape our perception of the source material. I'm super happy to get more people thinking about it!
